ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Provides specialized advocacy including care for spiritual injury, generational trauma, prior experiences, disabilities, and cognitive delays of child victims of abuse and their non-offending caregivers and families at all stages of an investigation and prosecution in compliance with the National Children's Alliance Standards of Accreditation. • Participates on the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) by attending monthly case reviews to help identify and address diverse needs, providing consultations to MDT members regarding religious beliefs and backgrounds of victims and their families, and addressing vicarious trauma of MDT members. • Acts as the liaison between the Children's Advocacy Center and youth serving organizations to provide education on trauma and abuse and equip faith leaders with tools for strong child protection policies. • Maintains records to reflect client services, MDT services, and services within the community. • Assists with facilitation of trauma-informed training for MDT, partner agencies, and community members. • Participates on the Sexual Assault Response Team for Highlands County to identify and address spiritual injury and vicarious trauma. • Represents the Children's Advocacy Center at community events, sometimes outside of business hours. • May assist in the supervision of volunteers and interns as needed. • Responds productively to change and performs all over related tasks as required and as directed. • Maintains a professional and safe unit and work area, adhering to established safety policies and the image desired for the organization. • Consistently follows Board policies and procedures. Develops an individualized, collaborative treatment plan in partnership with the client within 7 business days of referral, including goals, measurable objectives to be achieved by the client, the tasks involved in achieving those objectives, the type and frequency of services, and the expected dates of completion. 3. Completes and utilizes the Level of Care Utilization System (LOCUS) criteria assessment to aid in the identification of the appropriate level of care for the clients. 4. Encourages clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives and help them to develop insight into themselves and their relationships. Guides clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems. 5. Completes an individualized treatment plan review within 30 calendar days of the initial treatment plan in partnership with client. 6. Schedules and conducts individual, family, and group counseling sessions, psycho- educational intervention groups, orientations, and other clinical interventions as needed. 7. Counsels clients in crisis, assessing for a safety plan, while de-escalating the crisis. 8.
