KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES Maintain trees to meet Florida #1 standards or better according to Florida grades and standards. Maintain constant shapes between containers or in ground crop sizes when pruning. Follow Cherrylake pruning and staking processes and procedures. Sanitize Equipment between trees when pruning when needed. Stake trees according to Cherrylake procedures. Prep area for plantings, install container pots, slick wall containers and growbags. Shift (transplant) trees from one container size to another. Apply fertilizer and herbicide according to Cherrylake procedures. Apply pesticides as indicated by Pesticide License Applicator (if applicable and trained) Maintain sections clean, free of weeds, leaf litter, suckers, and trash. QUALIFICATIONS 1+ month of prior experience working in a nursery or tree farm, in cultivation/harvesting and/or installation of commercial plant material, handling both manual and machine tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.
