Responsibilities Assist with the setup of banquet rooms and event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decorations according to event specifications. Ensure that all necessary equipment, utensils, and silverware are clean, polished, and properly arranged, and that audiovisual equipment and lighting are set up and operational. Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their assigned tables, and provide assistance with seating as needed. Take food and beverage orders from guests, using suggestive selling techniques to promote additional items or upgrades. Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately, following established service standards and presentation guidelines. Anticipate guests' needs and preferences and provide personalized service and attention to ensure a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, and resolve any issues or complaints with empathy and professionalism. Clear tables, remove used dishes and utensils, and replenish supplies as needed throughout the event to ensure a clean and orderly dining environment. Assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks, including removing linens, folding chairs, and dismantling decorations. Complete post-event cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in banquet areas. Skills Required Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure. Experience / Education Serving and or set up experience preferred; must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol, per state law.
