Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Marion, Illinois. Required Qualifications:
One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications:
ACLS or PALS certification (AHA/ARC)
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Summary:
A Certified Respiratory Therapist delivers respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems, as well as routine care for chronic respiratory disorders. They assist in the treatment and management of patients with common pulmonary conditions, such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia. CRTs administer respiratory treatments, monitor equipment, and educate patients and families on the proper usage of respiratory therapies and devices.
Essential Work Functions:
Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy
Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
Observe and record patient status and progress
Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice
Required Essential Skills:
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate

* Train, coach, and professionally develop child welfare agency staff and supervisors through individual coaching, group learning, and formal training on leadership, and promote collaborative partnering with external child welfare community service providers, and collateral entities. Provide child welfare field support, inclusive of conducting regular and frequent meetings with individuals and small cohorts within but not limited to a field office, agency or client residence. Job Description
JOB CATEGORY DEFINITION:
The Maintenance Trainee program is designed for the individual to serve in rotations between maintenance roles in learning the proper training and techniques designed to be successful in all maintenance aspects of underground coal mining.
JOB TITLE DEFINITION:
The trainee will learn:
General Maintenance & Repairs
Full service on equipment
Run wire feed welder
Read a parts manual
Proper troubleshooting techniques on diesel equipment
Fire suppression on diesel equipment
Diesel emission testing
Understand mine power layout
Review all lock-out / tag-out procedures for working on various equipment
Assist in setting up a VFD/belt drive for a new installation
Breaker test and correct breaker settings
Understand basic 3 phase power
Understand slip, sequence, and remotes for belts
Perform chain and crawler maintenance
Proper cribbing and blocking techniques
Learn how to operate all face equipment
Troubleshoot & install leaky feeder & fiber optic cables

REQUIREMENTS
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree in Diesel Mechanics or a Trade Certificate in diesel, welding, or hydraulics
Comparable Military type experience in motorpool
New Miner Training for Underground & Surface
Benefits
Compensation at an attractive hourly rate of $26.41. Rate changes to $35.00 once Federal and State Electrical Certification is received.
In addition, there's potential to earn various bonuses based on safety, production metrics, and attendance.
