Role Description:

Job Summary: Peak Water Services is seeking a FieldServices Lead to join our team. In this key role, you will coordinate and perform hands-on work across water and wastewater systems, ensuring optimal performance through field troubleshooting, repairs, equipment maintenance, and customer support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze customer or company needs and develop daily work plans for yourself and field personnel.

Coordinate and perform troubleshooting, repairs, and startup activities for utility systems and equipment.
Review and interpret customer requirements, site layouts, and system documentation.

Ensure company vehicles and tools are accounted for, operational, and properly maintained.
Oversee repairs, preventative maintenance, and performance checks on utility infrastructure.

Complete detailed reports, work logs, service forms, and digital records.
Track inventory, part usage, and maintenance actions consistently and accurately.

Qualifications:

JOB SUMMARY:
To modify, rebuild, repair, or overhaul electronic and electrical equipment and controls. Applies knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Receives wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions, either verbally or in writing, concerning emergency and scheduled repair, installation, and inspection work to be performed.
Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and principles, wiring specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.
Plans details of working procedures to determine material or replacement needs and determines a logical approach to complex electrical and electronic repair problems.
Services electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components, circuit modules, printed circuit boards (PCBs), AC/DC drives, PLC components, and similar electronic devices.
Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs 480-volt three-phase power systems, industrial motor drives, and variable frequency drives (VFDs), including systems manufactured by Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
Performs plant-wide electronic and electrical maintenance, making operating adjustments as required.
Makes sketches of parts and layouts; designs and constructs adaptations of component parts or standard parts as required.
Maintains and installs communication cables, power distribution cables, and wiring; performs splicing and terminations as required.
Fabricates parts as required using machine and hand tools common to the trade.
Informs supervisors and machine operators of potentially dangerous electrical equipment and corrective actions taken.
Advises operators and line mechanics on standard operating procedures and safety requirements when working with electronic and electrical equipment.
Maintains company-required performance, inspection, and maintenance records for electronic and electrical equipment.
May provide technical direction and mentoring to electricians and other maintenance personnel as required.
Notifies supervisors or managers of any potential safety hazards.
Performs other duties and tasks as required.
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing:
480-volt three-phase electrical systems
PLC-controlled systems
Printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Industrial motor drives
AC/DC drives, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational education preferred.
Extensive technical knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.
Extensive background in computer-aided drafting (CAD) preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and applicable electrical codes.
