MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Technology Assurance Specialist III to join our team in El Segundo, CA.
The Information Technology Assurance Specialist's primary function is working with Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting SMC Directorates and/or AFSPC Operational Units. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establish complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for computer system(s) assigned.
Maintain file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation as required.
Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
Prepare system for operational use and support operational tests.
Review, prepare, and update AIS accreditation packages, notify customer when changes occur that might affect AIS accreditation/certification, perform AIS self-inspections, identify AIS vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures, and ensure AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices.
Provide security coordination and review of all system test plans, guest networks Client Support, Help Desk & troubleshooting, and Personal-Issue Laptop Support.
Perform VTC System Administration, Scheduling, & Configuration, Account Creations, changes, & deletions, Hardware/Software System Configuration, upgrades and modifications, Media Control & Accountability, and COMSEC account/equipment management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
8+ years total related experience
6+ years of relevant SCI experience.
Must have CompTIA Sec + certificate as outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 and Information Assurance Manager Level 1 within 6 months of the date of hire.
Must complete training on Joint Security Implementation Guidance (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) (if supported organization requires development of AIS accreditation packages).
Willingness to travel with the scope of the Program's Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note- could be extensive and will include both air and ground transportation).
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of SAP related experience highly desired.
Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies to include communication security (COMSEC) integration.
Working knowledge of JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to C&A for Legacy systems.
Working knowledge and current relevant experience with PL1 & PL2 systems; experience with PL3 & PL4 cross domain solutions desired.

Install, maintain, audit and support a secure MS Windows network environment and limited web/data application service.

Interface with local customers and provide IT related support to quickly resolve problems.

Job Description
Title: Network Operations Engineer
Location: Atlanta GA
Duration: 3+ months
MUST HAVE:
3+ years' experience providing network, server & environmental infrastructure management support for internal and external customers:
o System monitoring
o Troubleshooting
o Preventative maintenance
o Performing MAC (Moves, Adds, and Changes)
o Baselining traffic patterns
o Investigating network abnormalities, etc.
· Experience interfacing with vendor or 3rd party Network Operations Centers, internal customers & external customers
· Experience with network monitoring systems & helpdesk/trouble ticketing systems
· Knowledge troubleshooting with network protocol analysis software such as Wireshark, PCAP-ng and/or Ekahau
· Familiarity of RF spectrum analyzers such as Wi-Spy and Fluke
· Knowledge of ipswitch-Whatsup-Gold and reporting
· Thorough knowledge & understanding of TCP/IP network technologies
· Familiar with Windows Domain, Active Directory, DNS, Telnet, DHCP, FTP, SSL
· Basic knowledge of TACACS+ & RADIUS
· Excellent communication skills
· Must be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, and provide Tier I support

We're looking for a Network Engineer II with experience in Wi-Fi and related IEEE standards to join our growing Atlanta team. This role is a hybrid schedule with 2 days in office (near Perimeter Mall) and 3 days remote.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Lead the change, planning and implementation process for our client's T3 operations activities with regards to planned maintenance activities for our core wireless components including routers, switches, wireless LAN controllers and access points with minimal direction
Methodically scope, troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix complex problems as required in high-scale service provider WiFi environments while minimizing customer impacts and outages
Capture configurations, logs and packet captures, as necessary for escalation to engineering peers or vendors and partners
Partner with Engineering team members to influence designs and test strategies to improve delivery from an operational perspective, including reliability, scalability, simplicity, and standardization
Partner with Engineering team members to gain in-depth understanding of proposed changes to hardware, software or configurations and successfully map those to change activities, implementation and validation procedures, and technical operational documentation
Replicate production issues in staging lab environments as necessary to test fixes and to regression test launches
Assess and continually improve operational methods and procedures
Author methods and procedures to be executed on defined SNMP or syslog alarm conditions
Quickly understand preliminary product/platform concepts or high-level designs and subsequently author operational requirements as necessary based on those understandings
Translate engineering documentation into operational reference documentation and enhancing areas with additional applicable data where necessary
Utilize, interpret and translate network capacity tools and metrics into action plans to increase capacity as necessary
Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation
Participate in planned maintenance activities during maintenance windows as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
3+ years of experience as a technical engineer in the Wireless Communications Industry
Fundamental knowledge in Wi-Fi and related IEEE standards, protocols and service provider architectures
Fundamental knowledge in packet-based protocols such as UDP and TCP/IP (including protocols like DHCP, DNS, HTTP), MPLS and routing protocols such as BGP and ISIS
Fundamental knowledge of security protocols and authentication (WPA2/3, EAP types, 802.1x, AAA, RADIUS and/or DIAMETER)
Fundamental knowledge in DOCSIS and PON access and provisioning technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Bonus:
Specific experience in the operating of large-scale service provider wireless networks.
Intermediate knowledge in Network Monitoring Systems and Device/Network Management Systems including SNMP, syslog and streaming telemetry
Working knowledge experience with APIs, ansible, and scripting
