1973

Family Owned | Founded 1973

1974

1974 February—re–entered the wine distribution business as a California wholesaler in February, 1974.

1977

1977 Entered joint venture with Getty Oil to construct a winery in Fresno to become a processing center of San Joaquin Valley grapes.

1990

1990 Bronco Wine Company purchased our first brand and inventory—Estrella River Winery on August 1, 1990.

1993

1993 Started Hacienda Winery bottling room in Sonoma, California in August of 1993.

2000

2000 First bottled wine at Barrel 10 Quarter Circle located at 33 Harlow Court, Napa, California, on August 20, 2000.

2002

BWC Charles Shaw has sold more than 1 Billion bottles, since inception in 2002 (15 Years).

2003

2003 Bottled over 12,000,000 cases/year at Barrel 10 Quarter Circle Winery.

2007

The Napa Distribution Center opened for shipments July 1, 2007.

2007 114 years after Giuseppe arrived in San Francisco, Bronco is talking to their fellow employees that will take them to the next hundred years.

2010

2010 Charles Shaw sells over 500 million bottles; Crane Lake sells over 1.65 million cases nationally.

2013

In August 2013, Bronco Wine Company entered into a marketing campaign for its Allure Moscato wine products in partnership with Hip Hop artist Warren G and Brand Elite, LLC.

2015

2015 BWC launches 585NorthWest, focusing on brand development in Washington and Oregon.

2016

2016 BWC enters into first Direct to Consumer (DTC) program with Rosenblum brand acquisition; Rosenblum’s Urban Cellar is located in Oakland, CA—Jack London Square.
