The Role We Want You For
This position will assist in managing the flow of technical information between the Steel Project Management team, customers, subcontractors and vendors, while developing critical relationships with internal and external clients, through verbal and written communication. This position will collaborate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are executed smoothly.
The Specifics of the Role
Coordinate resolution of discrepancies and/or missing information with customers and design teams
Coordinate project sequencing and job setup
Provide technical instructions and guidance to steel detailers in preparing shop drawings per project requirements and standards
Monitor project schedules regarding submittals, approvals, and shop fabrication releases. Identify and communicate possible delays or problems to project management team
Organize detailing RFI process through formal RFI to customer and informal RFI's with the engineer, architect, and general contractor. Facilitates and fulfills other documentation efforts and duties
Distribute and route drawings
Maintain daily communication with Project Team on progress of areas of responsibility
Assist the Project Team in achieving successful project results
Serve as a direct link between Project Managers, Estimators, and the Detailers
Knowledge of contract drawings and trade specific drawings
Responsible for participation in site visits to collaborate with project teams on design needs and direction.
May occasionally travel to fabrication shops and provide in-shop fabrication coordination through duration of the projects
Obtain bids from material suppliers and subcontractors
Performs material takeoffs to assist in creation of change orders or project estimates, and the procurement of material needed
Perform other duties as required
Requirements
3+ years' experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Engineer
Knowledge and understanding of building construction
Ability to understand construction drawings and specifications
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to operate in a detail-oriented, fast paced, pro-active environment
Microsoft Office Suite

About the Position
The Project Coordinator plays a central role in managing all internal operations throughout the customer lifecycle-from proposal through project closeout. This position ensures seamless cross-department coordination, supports on-time and on-budget delivery, and helps maintain an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, data-driven, and comfortable managing multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle, including proposal support, procurement, scheduling, installation, and service closeout.
Coordinate with field teams, warehouse, dispatch, technicians, and management to ensure each project phase runs smoothly.
Allocate resources, manage tasks, and maintain timelines and budgets.
Review and reconcile daily technician reports with internal systems and project analytics.
Identify and resolve operational issues using a strategic, solutions-oriented approach.
Prepare and present weekly project status updates, including completion percentages and key milestones.
Analyze system-generated profitability reports and provide weekly project health summaries to management.
Maintain clear documentation and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Partner with Finance to confirm job completion percentages and support timely, accurate billing.
Communicate consistently and effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout all project stages.

What You'll Do

As a Property Operations Coordinator, will be responsible for assisting the community manager and helping administer the day-to-day operations of the community association business including but not limited to maintaining communications with the board of directors, association manager, association staff and homeowners.
Your Responsibilities:
* Assure that the policies, resolutions and other acts of the board are carried out
* Be knowledgeable of all association governing documents, rules and regulations and general legal requirements of a community association
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain open lines of communication with fellow associates, homeowners and the board
* Follow all policies and procedures of the association
* Log work requests and homeowner inquiries in Connect and generate work orders for maintenance staff and/or contractors
* Update work order log with notes and action taken by vendors.

* Update and maintain community information in Connect.
* Utilize Connect for all mass communications to homeowners, subject to board authorization.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree preferred, minimum of 2 years of business experience

* Excellent word processing, mathematics, and computer skills required.
