During his tenure at Puppet, he grew the user base of Puppet’s open source and commercial solutions to more than 40,000 companies, including 75 percent of the Fortune 100. Prior to that, he spent two decades in senior leadership roles at Microsoft, VMware and EMC Corp. As a “global citizen,” Sanjay’s move to Commvault’s New Jersey headquarters is a return to his roots. He has family in the New Jersey area and is on the board of directors at Drew University, his alma mater. In addition to his board role at Drew, where he studied computer science and math, he serves on the boards of Datameer, Portland Center Stage and Puppet.
