- Claim Assessment and Quantification: Analyze financial records and supporting documentation to determine the validity and value of disaster-related claims. This may involve reviewing income statements, balance sheets, production reports, payroll records, and supplier contracts to calculate losses accurately.
- Business Interruption Analysis: Assess the extent of business interruption and estimate lost profits, continuing expenses, and extra costs incurred during the recovery period.
- Investigating Fraudulent Claims: Detect red flags, investigate suspicious transactions, and differentiate legitimate losses from inflated or fabricated claims.
- Documentation and Evidence Gathering: Collect and organize all necessary documentation to support claim amounts. This includes gathering invoices, receipts, contracts, photographs, and statements.
- Damage Estimation: Using financial modeling and industry benchmarks, estimate the total financial impact of the disaster on the applicant's assets, inventory, and operations.
- Expert Testimony and Litigation Support: In cases of disputes or litigation, Specialist may be required to present their findings in court, provide expert testimony, and assist attorneys in building their cases.

The Permitting and Regulatory Compliance Lead will lead a team responsible for managing the permitting and regulatory compliance processes across all our entire NYC portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

* Support the CM in preparation and implementation of CM JHAs.

* Perform and submit CMEHSO daily reports of the Contractors' Work activities and document non-compliance with the construction contractor's EHASPs and JHAs.
* Prepare monthly trending analysis of Contractor performance to proactively address Contractor's non-conformance and to be used for Contractor's EHS evaluations.
* Notify client, report, investigate, and provide root cause analysis for all "Observations", "Hazards Identifications" (Haz-IDs), "Incidents" and "Near Misses" through client's electronic project management information system (ePMIS).
* Oversee Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and drills for the site in coordination with client's Operating Bureaus (when applicable).
* Submit EHS monthly status reports and metrics;
* Review and manage all EHS Annual Reports (i.e. EPCRA, Hazardous Waste, Confined Space);
* Participate in client's EHS Audits and OEHS EHS Assessments;
* Conduct EHS "OSHA 1910" inspections throughout the project lifecycle
* This position will also work closely with other program H&S staff and specialized Safety Partners to support internal tasks related to the continued growth and improvement of the overall company H&S program. These responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Reviewing and maintaining internal H&S Policies.

- Ensures all field personnel adhere to all company, client and project policies, procedures, standards, etc. (verifies all PGL personnel are properly trained).
- Maintains official project log and documentation files for all projects.
- Visits job sites regularly as required for training, job audits, meetings, etc.
- Verifies/approves punch list and final inspections are performed and correct.
- Monitors manpower and budget requirements in collaboration with appropriate project management personnel to anticipate the need for on-site personnel changes.
