QUALIFICATIONS Education: Completion of a state-approved CNA program and registration in the Nursing Assistant Registry. Certification: Passed state CNA exam. Current, active, and unrestricted CNA certification from any U.S. state, DC, or territory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross. Additional certifications may be required based on position. Experience: Minimum of 1 year CNA experience within the last 2 years under supervision of a Physician, LVN, or RN. Competency: Must have documented current competence in the required specialty. Licensure/Registration: Not required. Renewals: Certifications must be renewed before expiration and kept current throughout the contract.
