    Put your education and experience as a counselor to work at our family health center. This is a unique opportunity to provide care in an integrated behavioral and primary health care setting. may be eligible for a sign-on bonus! Responsibilities Work with a diverse client population. Provide short-term, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, CBT, and SBIRT interventions. Work side by side with primary and psychiatric prescribers to offer consultation and support. Engage with clients through walk-in, scheduled appointments, and warm hand offs helping to reduce barriers to treatment. Advocate on clients' behalf. Collaborate with health navigators to address social determinants of health needs. Help familiarize primary care staff with what it means to provide behavioral health care. Qualifications Must have a Masters' or doctoral degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, pastoral counseling, marriage and family therapy or related field and operate under the direct supervision of an LPHA in the state of Illinois. Valid driver's license, private automobile insurance and ability to be insurable, preferred. Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word & Excel, videoconferencing, email, and an electronic medical record (EMR).
