This is a stipend only position. When the games begin late August, the teams will normally practice twice and play twice a week. We are a part for the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association which is divided into a North and South division. We normally play an away and home game against each of schools in our division. So, there will be so travel involved. The players parents are responsible for their student athlete transportation to games. There is a wide range of skill with our student athletes. Some have some experience but, some do not. We do not cut student athletes, so, every student athlete that wants to play is able to make the team. As I said earlier the JV team is developmental and our Varsity is the competitive team. Easter Seals of Greater Houston, a leading provider of service to people of all ages, with any type of disability is currently seeking a Physical Therapist to provide in-home services out of our Conroe Early Childhood Intervention territory. The Easter Seals ECI Infant Development program is parent-driven and focuses on enhancing the development of children ages birth to 36 months with developmental delays or disabilities. It is our goal to give families the tools they need to make a significant impact on the development of their children. Key responsibilities: Assess developmental skills of assigned clients from birth to the third birthday: Collect information from case history, parent report, observation of child, and other professionals. Interpret evaluation results, develop diagnostic impressions, and make recommendations. Implement specific, reasonable, and necessary intervention plans for children experiencing developmental delays, atypical behaviors, and/or certain medical diagnosis based on evaluation findings and the Individual Family Service Plan. State requirement: Plan must be written within 45 days of referral. Schedule and prioritize direct and indirect service activities within established timelines; document professional contacts in a timely manner. Provide direct services to children and their families at home, daycare, or other "natural environment". State requirement: Services must begin within 28 days of writing the IFSP. Complete all client paperwork, timesheets, expense reports, schedules, Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) and any other required paperwork; submit on time to Director/Assistant Director and/or appropriate personnel as designated in procedures. Agency expectation is that you will be proficient in our Providersoft and other agency software within 60 days. Insure maximum service delivery through management of a Director/Assistant Director-approved schedule (based on assigned caseload by intensity, frequency, and location of services). Current staff expectation is that a minimum of 65 hours of services will be delivered monthly. Communicate effectively with families, physicians, other agency representatives, co-workers, and the community at large. Serve as the Service Coordinator for assigned clients as outlined in the Service Coordination Module. Participate with other department staff members in the development and presentation of educational materials, in-services, and training courses. Identify and refer children/families for related services including, but not limited to, audiological, educational, medical, psychological, sociological, or other resources such as a toy lending library, respite, etc., as needed. Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Continuing Education Units (preferably in topics relating to the Birth to Three population) English communication skills including listening, speaking, nonverbal communication and writing Physical Therapy License for Texas 3 years' experience, including one year with infant/toddler population Ability to frequently bend, squat, twist and reach Able to handle and transfer patients weighing up to 50 pounds Able to occasionally lift from floor up to 50 pounds, walk on rough ground, complete fine manipulation Frequent repetitive pushing, pulling, and grasping up to 50 pounds Maintain personal liability insurance Willing to drive extensively in and around Conroe and surrounding areas.

The Water Safety Instructor is responsible for teaching learn to swim classes to children and adults. Plan, conduct and/or organize designated swimming development classes or water safety presentations. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Minimum of 16 years of age and actively pursuing high school diploma. Special Requirements: Must possess current American Red Cross Certifications - Water Safety Instructor (WSI). PCPR/AED and First Aid or equivalent certification. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Knowledge of and able to teach the American Red Cross Water Safety curriculum. * Skill in good communication and public relation. * Ability to swim, bend, stoop, twist and reach when teaching and maintaining pool area. * Ability to walk frequently to organize and lead participants to and from the water and to identify problems or hazards. * Ability to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 lbs., or heavier weights with the use of proper equipment. * Ability to demonstrate excellent public service skills at all times. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The work requires medium and requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: balancing, climbing, crouching, feeling, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, mental acuity, pulling, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, standing, talking and walking.
