The COACH - Community and Opportunities at Children's Hospital - internship program mission is to create a pathway for emerging healthcare professionals, offering hands-on experience, structured development, and dedicated mentorship.
The opportunity
The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 8-Friday, August 14, 2026. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week. Interns will earn $17.50-$21.50/hour.
This role is on-site at 333 Longwood Ave, Boston. Specific work hours will be determined by the supervisor.
What you'll do
The clinic is outpatient and serves primary care, eating disorder, reproductive endocrinology, long-acting reversible contraception, complex care, chronic fatigue, nutrition, and other specialties. Work at the clinic's front desk and alternatively on the administrative floor at a desk for non-patient-facing work if applicable.

Responsibilities:
A coach is directly responsible to the Director of Athletics. The coach of an individual sport must realize that any activity sponsored by WHS Athletics is part of the total program offered by WHS. Individuals in charge of such activities must utilize sound educational principles and goals if athletics are to be a worthwhile part of the overall school program.
General duties:
1.Model the behaviors outlined in the NFHS Coaches Code of Ethics, especially those pertaining to sportsmanship.
2.Have full control of the team in all matters pertaining to coaching and athletic discipline.
3.Implement WHS Athletic Department policies and team rules.
4.Be responsible for information contained in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Handbook and the WHS Athletic Guide.
5.Stay informed of rule changes, trends, and recommendations that affect their particular sport.
6.Be present at each practice session and at all contests of the sport coached.
7.Develop an organized written practice plan to include adequate warm-up and cool-down procedures on a daily basis.
8.Make sure that the facilities and equipment are safe and that safety procedures are taught and followed in all areas.

General Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and supervise High School programs and teams.
2. Help students achieve gains in athletic skills and team performance.
3. Design a training program and game program.
4. Organize and supervise the coaching staff to ensure the program is implemented
correctly.
5. Train assistant coaches in techniques, skills, philosophy, rules, and strategies.
6. Call meetings with coaching staff periodically and consistently throughout the sports
season.
7. Responsible for assisting the Activities Director with scheduling the
following: a. game schedules b. practice schedules c. transportation
8. Develop team rules, communicate them to the players and their parents, and
equitably enforce them.
9. Ensure that student-athletes meet eligibility rules.
10. Ensure that physical evaluation and permission forms are correctly completed and
filed in the Athletic Director's office.
11. Ensure that student-athletes adhere to training rules, lettering policies, grade
requirements, and rules of behavior.
12. Ensure the continual supervision of student-athletes on the court in conditioning.
13. Ensure that health and safety precautions are observed during all activities.
14. Immediately report all major injuries incurred during practice sessions or
competitions to the Athletic Director and Principal.
15. Ensure proper purchasing, inventory, and care of equipment.
16. Submit a complete team roster to the Athletic Director ten days before the first
contest.
17. Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director, Principal, or other Administrative
Staff

Job DescriptionReferees are responsible for understanding and enforcing rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, competitive environment. This is a part-time, contract (1099) role, great for anyone who likes being outside, enjoys sports, and is looking for supplemental income.
Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all players
Understand and kindly and fairly enforce each sport's rules
Communicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc.
Qualifications
Must be able to referee at Beach House in Natick
Must have played the sport before
Must be available for a minimum of eight weeks, as follows:
Weekday availability from 6:00pm-11:00pm
Weekend availability between 11:30am- 3:30pm
Must have reliable transportation to and from field location
Must be able to pass Volo referee certification test
