**Job Summary**
The Cardiovascular Invasive Technician - Certified provides specialized support during diagnostic and therapeutic/interventional cardiovascular procedures. This role involves assisting physicians, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining sterile techniques to ensure patient safety and quality care. The Technician ensures accurate data recording, documentation, and effective communication with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
**Essential Functions**
+ Assists physicians during cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to clinical protocols.
+ Operates advanced cardiovascular equipment safely and efficiently, monitoring patient status and adapting to changing conditions as necessary.
+ Records, calculates, and verifies data during procedures for physician review, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
+ Prepares and maintains detailed procedural documentation, including treatment plans, evaluation results, and progress reports, in line with department standards.
+ Ensures a safe and efficient environment in the acute care area, responding promptly to patient needs and changes in condition.
+ Supports patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring, providing reassurance and ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.
+ Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure seamless workflow, equipment readiness, and effective communication during procedures.
+ Participates in quality improvement initiatives and maintains compliance with best practices, policies, and regulatory standards for cardiovascular care.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
+ 0-1 years of experience in cardiovascular or invasive procedures required
**Licenses and Certifications**
+ RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist from the National Board of Cardiovascular Technology required
+ BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained within 90 days of hire required and
+ ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain a working knowledge of all testing equipment which includes but not limited to respirator fit machines, pulmonary function machine, audiometry machine, and breath alcohol machines.
Calibrate all equipment at the beginning of each day in accordance with manufacturer's requirements. Additional calibrations may be required at other times according to manufacturer's specifications.
Inspect and repair all equipment as necessary.
Conduct periodic surveys of equipment and stations so that all safety and hygiene hazards to customers and Technicians are identified and corrected.
Complete all the administrative steps applicable to the equipment so that all required information is verified and properly recorded.
Administer respirator fit tests in full compliance with CFR 1910.134 Respiratory Protection Standard.
Administer all drug and alcohol collections in full compliance with 49 CFR Part 40 standards.
Maintain and develop customer relationships by responding to questions, concerns, and requests from customers with speed and professionalism.
Thoroughly disinfect and inspect each respirator upon completion of each test
Insure all customer data and paperwork is kept confidential at all times
Keep up to date with relevant safety topics, software and lecture and online training technology
Up to date in NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) and CAOHC (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation) certifications
Up to date in all drug and alcohol testing certifications and courses
Strive to maintain personal drug testing procedures that are flawless - undergo mandated remediation within 30 days of error notification.
Respond to after-hour calls as needed

The Maintenance Technician Specialist will be responsible for supporting maintenance operations throughout the Philadelphia facility. They will help drive reliability and system performance of manufacturing and support equipment through preventative maintenance tasks as well as general diagnostic and troubleshooting activities. They will also support maintenance of building/facility equipment. Complex issues will be escalated to management team for further coordination of troubleshooting efforts.
Primary Duties:
Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing and support equipment.
Follow established procedures for maintenance activities and documentation.
Complete Preventive Maintenance work orders prior to the completion due date.
Review maintenance work instructions and modify as needed.
Maintain production equipment to run at required specifications.
Notify supervision of any PM inadequacies or parts shortages.
Coordinate and complete preventive maintenance without impacting production schedule.
Conduct general troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
Quickly respond to service calls for machine repairs and adjustments.
Determine what tools are needed to effectively complete work orders.
Determine if the corrective maintenance job is one of a repetitive nature. If so, develop a process to eliminate the reoccurrence.
Adhere to FDA regulations, GMP, ISO Standards, and safety protocols.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to company and OSHA safety guidelines and support safety activities such as safety audits and adherence of wearing personal protective equipment.
Establish good documentation practices.
Complete all scheduled training on-time.
Use of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) correctly by completing PMs, enter urgent work orders, attach parts, attach labor, search for parts.
Interact with off-site inventory managers and coordinate requisition/acquisition of spare parts needed for repairs.
Consult with other maintenance personnel as warranted to discuss issues that affect the operations of the maintenance department by identifying and to help resolve recurring maintenance problems.
Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement to equipment/systems driving toward increasing reliability and minimizing the incidence of unplanned downtime to production equipment.
Actively provide Maintenance support for installation, shakedown, and start-up of new manufacturing equipment.
Support Facility Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, IOQ through Process Validation.
* Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for production and support equipment operation.
Minimum Requirements:
HS diploma, GED or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, manufacturing/lab HVAC, or similar equipment.
Preferred certifications: EPA 608, NFPA 70E, Journeyman's electrical or plumbing license
Preferred experience in commercial or residential
Strong attention to detail and GMP/regulated experience (including knowledge of change control, validation, and commissioning processes) desired.
Able to read ladder logic and troubleshoot/repair PLC's, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical drawings and systems desired.
Knowledge of and experience working within an ISO 14001 & 45001 certified organization preferred.

* Technologist is knowledgeable in completing and documenting the following ACR/MQSA QC test: Phantom, Visual checklist, Repeat analysis, Compression‐pressure, compression thickness, flat filed test, calibration, Dicom printer test.
Operations
* Restocks linens and supplies, and maintains Mammography Department in clean and orderly condition.
* Transports patients, positions patients, and helps them on and off procedure table.
* Performs patient charging activities on the day the service is rendered.
* Applies shielding.
* Prepares and maintains patient follow‐up data.
* Willingly lends knowledge and assistance to others upon request as needed and routinely as time is available, without prompting, so that all working time is used for departmental advantage.
* Performs routine duties of clerical and support personnel in accordance with procedure when warranted to ensure continuity and quality of services.
* Keeps supervisor informed on all responsibilities on an ongoing basis, ensuring prompt notification in the event of problems or potential problems.

The Polysomnography Tech 2, under the direction of the Manager, coordinates the daily operations of the Sleep Laboratory. Within this framework, responsible for monitoring and accessing Sleep Lab quality, policies and procedures, staff and equipment performance. Communicates and educates patients and families regarding sleep disorders and treatments. Consults with referring physicians regarding patient results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Performs polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting, including oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure titrations.
Scores studies and formulates reports for physician interpretation. Documents all pertinent patient events according to department policy.
Communicates instructions, results, and relative information to patients, physicians, and family members.
Calibrates and performs routine and troubleshooting maintenance on equipment, contacting manufacturers for repairs as needed. Notifies proper personnel for equipment problems. Cleans all equipment ensuring infection control.
Consults regularly with the Medical Director regarding patient studies.
Maintains standards for completeness of Continuous Quality Improvement and Quality Control measurements.
Orients and trains new Sleep Lab employees.
Establishes and implements performance improvements including education and staff development.
Communicates concerns and/or problems with possible solutions to the Department Manager or Director.
Maintains a current and complete Policy and Procedure Manual.
