Sr. Community Liaison Requirements:

Summer associates can expect to work on multiple projects at a time. As a summer associate, you will play a critical role in driving the research, analysis, and strategy of cases. Responsibilities and work experiences across consulting engagements vary widely by project and may include the following activities:
Quantitative analyses and modeling: You will identify, design, and implement rigorous research methodologies; conduct cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and burden-of-illness analyses; and support health economic modeling using tools such as R, SAS, Stata, and others. A CommunityHealthWorker (CHW) is a trusted member of the community who helps patients better access and coordinate their psychiatric care. We believe that CHWs have the skills and experience to understand what patients are going through and help them address the social and medical problems that lead to poor health. MENTAL HEALTH LITIGATION DIVISION OVERVIEW
The Mental Health Litigation Division provides individuals with attorneys for Civil Commitment proceedings in the District and Superior Courts and provides attorneys for appointment by the Probate and Family Courts to represent persons in Guardianships and Substituted Judgment proceedings, including cases involving Conservatorship, Elder Abuse, the Validation of Health Care Proxies, Nursing Home Admission and Do Not Resuscitate orders. Civil Commitments are handled by both staff and private attorneys, while most cases in the Probate Court are handled by private panel attorneys.
In addition to our staff offices in Brockton, Roxbury, Northampton, and Worcester, the MHLD has attorneys in our trial support and oversight office and our training department. Engages in a program of field training to provide behavioral health services in a variety of placement settings. 1. Clinical Interns are in their second field placement and are more often placed in programs which provide individual treatment (in addition to other services).
2. These interns are usually assigned a small caseload of clients in which they are providing treatment with clients under close supervision of their clinical supervisor. This includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, providing therapy, discharge and aftercare planning, and completing clinical documentation.

I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Provides clinical support or treatment as defined by the level of care and service needs of the population served.
