This is a Friday and Saturday Night position 16 hrs per week Job Summary Responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and providing assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. Qualifications Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems, to detect and respond to security breaches or incidents. -Maintain situational awareness by observing video surveillance feeds and monitoring system alerts. -Document and report any suspicious activities, security incidents, or policy violations according to established procedures. -Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fires, security breaches, or other incidents. -Initiate appropriate emergency protocols and procedures, including contacting emergency services, notifying relevant personnel, and providing assistance as needed. -Maintain communication with emergency response teams, providing updates and coordinating efforts to resolve the situation. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience in security operations, preferably in a healthcare or similar setting. 1-2 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. - Familiarity with emergency response protocols and procedures. - Excellent observation and situational awareness skills. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels, including patients, visitors, and staff. - Ability to maintain composure and make sound judgments during emergencies or stressful situations.
