SUMMARY The Logistics Superintendent is essential for managing logistics in solar and battery storage projects, focusing on the site delivery schedule, material handling, and resolving logistical challenges. This role oversees all site logistics activities and supervises material management personnel, ensuring project completion within budget and on schedule. Collaborative efforts with Discipline Superintendents are vital for success and efficient material distribution. This position reports to the Site Manager or another management personnel that the CEO designates . This position is project-based and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend working hours will be required as needed. This position is expected to travel up to 100%. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and oversee the site delivery schedule for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system projects. Execute comprehensive plans for receiving, offloading, staging, and managing materials efficiently. Identify and resolve daily logistical challenges to ensure smooth operations. Manage all site logistics activities, including receiving, offloading, and staging, to support project timelines. Supervise m aterial m anagement field personnel , including general foreman, operators and laborers , ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with Discipline Superintendents to ensure a cohesive work environment and effective distribution of materials. Ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget by closely monitoring and adjusting logistical plans as necessary. Implement quality control measures for logistics operations to meet project specifications. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to contracts. Maintain inventory control, ensuring all necessary materials are available as needed without excess. Promote and enforce safety protocols among logistics and material management teams. Report regularly on logistics status, challenges, and solutions to project management and other relevant stakeholders. Perform other duties and special projects as directed by supervisory or senior management . Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position; and Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 4 years w ork experience in renewables construction, or related field. Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) . Demonstrated ability in supporting projects: planning, installation, and execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Fluent in written and spoken English. Spanish speaking is a plus. Willingness to travel full-time.
