Assist WBC and/or subcontractor foreman in resolving any problems. Maintain cooperative working relationships with all Company employees. This includes "inter" and "intra" departmental employees. Also included are all Subcontractor, Owners, Architects, Suppliers, etc. Is alert to opportunities to change equipment, methods, processes and procedures that can benefit the Company and the overall project performance. Researches and develops these ideas with the Project Manager as may be appropriate. Ensure that direct hires (carpenters, laborers, etc.) are trained to perform their jobs adequately and safely including requirements of company Drug Free Workplace requirements. Advise the General Superintendent two (2) weeks in advance of any pending needs for direct hires. Cost code all delivery & purchase tickets for items delivered to site. Submit these to the Accounting Department weekly. Keep informed of the general employee morale and initiate whatever procedures are necessary to improve and maintain an acceptable level. In conjunction with the Project Manager, review budgets with actual costs on a weekly basis or as set forth by the project team at the Project Kickoff Meeting.
