DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This is a seasonal job that is currently budgeted for 17 pay periods (34 weeks) per fiscal year. These seasonal positions are critical to ensuring that maintenance areas have the workforce required to maintain the facilities in their region during the busiest months of the year. Access area maintenance is critical to ensuring that accesses and ramps are safe for public use. Additionally, this position will allow for crews of two, ensuring that no one works alone and that everyone is able to safely complete the tasks assigned to them, such as mowing access areas and dam breasts. Work includes but is not limited to installing docks, installing signage, weed eating, litter pickup, and making minor maintenance repairs on dams and spillways.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Seasonal, full-time employment (March through November)
This position does not receive medical benefits. Paid time off accrues after working 750 regular (non-overtime) hours in each calendar year.
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
There may be occasional travel, overnights, weekend, evening, holiday, or overtime work.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Access area maintenance is critical to ensuring that accesses and ramps are safe for public use. Additionally, this position will allow for crews of two, ensuring that no one works alone and that everyone is able to safely complete the tasks assigned to them, such as mowing access areas and dam breasts. Work includes but is not limited to installing docks, installing signage, weed eating, litter pickup, and making minor maintenance repairs on dams and spillways.

Our Requirements for the New Construction Plumbing Foreman:
5-8+ years of plumbing construction experience.
OSHA-10 Certification.
Associate degree in a relevant field is a plus but not required.
A strong work ethic and a commitment to getting the job done right the first time.
Journeyman's or Master's license is a plus.
Proficiency in using iPads for professional emails and job documentation.
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
A lifelong learner mindset and a passion for growing within the trade.

Your New Role
Lead project safety, including holding safety meetings and ensuring compliance on-site.
Understand and execute project drawings and specifications with precision.
Plan the work, coordinating manpower and equipment with the general superintendent.
Order and manage materials while maintaining accurate inventory.
Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers to handle changing conditions.
Track daily production quantities, labor hours, and other records.
Build relationships with the Owner, Owner's Representative, and the public, representing Chivers Construction professionally.

6-10 years of experience in bridge construction or related industrial projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
