About this Role
FiberTel is looking for Travel CDL ConstructionWorker/Laborers for our Portland location. This is a travel position with job sites in OR, WA, and ID.
In this role, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. Duties will include general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor.
Services may include placing poles, anchors, aerial strand and cable, direct buried pipe, trenching cable, conventional and directional boring, placing underground conduit systems, performing inside wiring, cabling, and testing and maintenance services.
Pay: $20-27/hr, + Daily Per Diem + Travel accommodations.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
Hand dig using a shovel, mechanical tools.
Installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Laborer is responsible for installing and repairing roofs on commercial structures. The Laborer is also responsible for removing old roofing materials before making repairs to the structure and applying new roofing materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect and test roof for leaks
Suggest necessary repairs
Repair leaks and other roof problems
