Responsibilities Contract & Account Setup and Review Review new customer contracts and accounts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Identify discrepancies and work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly. Maintain organized, accurate documentation for all new accounts. Account Maintenance & Updates Conduct periodic reviews and update accounts on an ongoing basis Identify accounts requiring updates, follow-ups, or additional documentation Maintain clear, complete, and accurately updated account histories. Lien / Loan Payoff Process Management Manage the company's lien, UCC, and loan payoff process Coordinate with sellers, finance, title companies, and other partners to facilitate timely filings and releases. Prepare, submit, monitor, and update UCC filings and related documentation. Ensure all legal timelines, requirements, and procedures are met. Cross-Department Support & Training Serve as a liaison between sales, finance, operations, and title partners for loan and lien and contract-related inquiries. Provide guidance and training to the sales team on the lien process, documentation needs, and best practices. Assist with improving workflows, documentation, and communication processes to increase efficiency and compliance. Qualifications Required Experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar administrative role. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Excel, Word, and internal management or CRM systems. Preferred Experience with financing, loan-payouts, UCC filings or lien processing. Background in the construction industry, construction billing, or contract administration. Familiarity with reviewing contracts or financial documents. Job Description Oversees the management and negotiation of PSE's portfolio of transmission contracts under the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) jurisdiction. Advises the business by providing detailed risk assessments, developing strategic approaches, and recommending courses of action. Provides direction to other team members on the management of customer and inter-utility agreements with PSE's counterparties with the overall goal to reduce risk and maximize the efficient use of PSE's transmission assets. Serves as an internal and external expert on FERC transmission matters that encompasses any and all responsibilities within the team (including transmission service, interconnection, inter-utility agreements, balancing authority requirements, and other applicable responsibilities) which have regulatory and legal implications. Facilitates cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and other organizations to ensure effective contract implementation and optimal alignment with organizational objectives. Provides technical leadership and guidance to the transmission contracts team in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts for transmission service, transmission-to-transmission interconnection, generation interconnection, inter-utility operating agreements, balancing authority agreements, and other agreements as necessary under PSE's Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT). Conducts and oversees technical, economic, and risk analyses of contractual proposals and alternatives to identify benefits and costs. Provides counsel on critical regulatory or legal matters that involve technical knowledge or opinion and presents findings to PSE's senior leadership. Coordinates and reviews the work of contract administration staff (including contractors and/or consultants). Analyzes, develops, facilitates, and implements transmission service solutions for complex, multi-faceted projects involving multiple project areas and stakeholders. Represents company's interest in regional transmission policy stakeholder processes (BPA, NorthernGrid, CAISO, etc.), on high visibility projects, other industry technical committees, and on contractually required committees such as operating committees. Works with transmission customers and cross-functional teams on issues relating to business practices, transmission service obligations/provisions, transmission outages, Open Access Same-time Information System (OASIS), and technical systems implementation. The Grants and Contracts Manager will be responsible for administering incoming and outgoing awards and contracts with diverse organizations and their performance will affect valuable funder and collaborator relationships. The purpose of this position is to provide strategic oversight and administration for a grant and contract portfolio of up to $15 million within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The position is responsible for managing a diverse financial portfolio that involves many sources of funding, complex compliance and policies unique to the School of Medicine and to each specific funding sponsor. With a portfolio of up to 20 faculty members, this position serves valuable roles including faculty and staff effort certification, liaison with the UW office of sponsored projects and the primary interface to outside funders. Under the supervision of the Assistant and Associate Director for Research Operations, the grant and contract manager exercises independent judgement and has delegated decision making authority regarding the management of sponsored grants and/or sponsored and no-sponsored contract budgets and revenue generating activities, as well as gift management for faculty under their umbrella. The position will be responsible for providing post-award, contract and gift administration and reporting for up to 20 faculty members within the Department who are located across multiple on-campus sites.
