Summary: Logistics maintenance technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of logistics automation systems of the production by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This position will also need to work closely with equipment engineers, controls engineers, production engineers, production managers, and other teams to minimizing downtime, maximizing uptime, and optimizing production efficiency. Equipment Management and Maintenance for Logistics Automation Equipment Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery according to established schedules and procedures to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment life Conduct equipment inspections, diagnostics, and performance checks to identify potential issues, defects, or malfunctions, and recommend corrective actions or repairs Support equipment engineers to manage equipment 2. Documentation and Report Document maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and equipment status in maintenance logs, work orders, and computerized maintenance management systems Manage spare parts for equipment 5. Training and Development Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and reliability Get regular and appropriate training regarding potential safety risks and prevention measures 6.
