Ms. Blount is the Michael L. Nemmers Professor of Strategy and was the Dean of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University from July 2010 to August 2018. From 2004 to 2010, she served as the Vice Dean and Dean of the Undergraduate College of New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Ms. Blount joined the faculty of New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business in 2001 and was the Abraham L. Gitlow Professor of Management and Organizations. Prior to joining NYU in 2001, Ms. Blount held academic posts at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business from 1992 to 2001. Ms. Blount currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ulta Beauty, Inc. and the Joyce Foundation. As former Dean of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and as the former Vice Dean and Dean of the Undergraduate College of New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, Ms. Blount provides Abbott’s Board with expertise on business organization, governance and business management matters.
