Essential Duties & Responsibilities o Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of Core Database, Database tools and associated UNIX Administration o Work closely with customers on a daily basis to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a consistently high quality customer experience o Provide remote-based production operational support & guidance for multiple clients using Oracle Technology products o Support client configuration, sharing implementation and best practice advice o Manage one or more key assigned accounts as a single point of client contact and advisor o Be a pro-active contributor to a 24x7x365 running support organization, this will require working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays and monitoring email regularly outside standard business hours o Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment to extend field experience to different client situations o Contribute to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes, to improve the client experience o Going on Site to various customers Additional Duties & Responsibilities o Mentor and train the other team members in the area of own expertise Education o Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience Experience o 10+ years relevant Oracle Core DBA experience o 3+ years direct support of application end-users in a Corporate environment o Expertise in all major versions of technology stack including Database, iAS, Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Java, Enterprise Manager, SOA, WebLogic and JVM o Hands-on operational expertise as an Oracle DBA, with technology including RAC, SSO, Dataguard, High Availability and Backup/Recovery o Expertise with Oracle Database 11 & 12, including full life-cycle implementation experience, configuration and administration of the application o Expertise in performance tuning across the entire stack - Knowledge of Oracle maintenance/patching mechanics and EBS architecture o Demonstrable history solving complex problems across multiple modules Skills o Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving o Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with Clients o Deep knowledge of Oracle Database deployment methodologies o Excellent development skills using Oracle toolset and Linux/Python scripts o Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills -verbal & written o Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly o Extreme focus on Client satisfaction o Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations o The ability to work remotely from a home based office in a virtual environment Desired Qualifications o Experience with administration, installation and/or debug of other Oracle Technology components would be an advantage such as Fusion Middleware, WebLogic components, Essbase, Golden Gate, OBIEE, OIM - MS SQL, PostgreSQL or Exadata experience while not mandatory, would be useful o A consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills: * This skill is the combination of the Oracle Core and Apps DBA skills. * Installation experience on various Oracle database versions * Knowledge on code tree build and maintenance. * Knowledge on Oracle RAC Administration and maintenance, ASM and Data Guard. * Knowledge on Oracle RDBMS patching on single node and RAC environments. * Oracle Applications R12.1.3/R12.2 experience and Expertise * Trouble shooting knowledge in APPS * Middle tier (iAS, Apache), Forms and Concurrent Managers * Parallel Concurrent Process administration * Knowledge on Application patch analysis and installation * Good knowledge on the various Application Admin utilities (ad utilities) * Cloning/Refresh of Oracle and Application environments * Good to have Knowledge in WebLogic Administration and Basic Troubleshooting required for EBS 12.2 Roles & Responsibilities: * Oracle database concepts and Architecture * Installation experience on various Oracle database versions * Knowledge on code tree build and maintenance. * Knowledge on Oracle RDBMS patching on single node and RAC environments * Knowledge on Oracle Cluster Ready services (CRS), Data Guard, RMAN backup/recovery methods and maintenance of ASM * Troubleshooting Long running transactions and ERP concurrent requests * Trouble shooting knowledge in APPS -Middle tier (iAS, Apache), Forms and Concurrent Managers * Parallel Concurrent Process administration * Knowledge on Database, Middle tier and Apps Upgrades * Knowledge on Application patch analysis and installation * Good knowledge on the various Application Admin utilities (adutilities) * Cloning/Refresh of Oracle and Application environments * Automate the development, test, and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker containers) * Good communication skills Salary Range: $64,000-$100,000 a year #LI-CM2
