We are seeking a Professional Project Layout/Survey Engineer to join and strengthen our team!
Key Responsibilities include:
Prepare layout documents and computations associated with ALTA, Boundary and Topographic Surveys etc.
Prepare layout and As-built drawings and descriptions utilizing AutoCAD and other related software packages as directed.
Prepare and manage project schedule.
Prepares standard forms and communicates the project requirements and expectations.
Communicates and coordinates schedules with project team.
Reviews data and documents developed by team for accuracy and precision.
Analyzes data from various sources, e.g., traditional field survey, point cloud, GIS, etc. to develop and prepare plans and reports.
Provide construction-related services including correspondence with team, construction plan interpretation, point data extraction, stakeout reviews, etc.
Review applicable reference materials and location specific statutes and requirements and communicates knowledge with teammates and clients.
Review and evaluate project documentation, e.g., field notes, title work, surveys, property descriptions, etc.
Qualifications Include:
Minimum 3 years' experience
Experience using levels, conventional total stations, robotic instruments, surveying equipment while collecting field survey data for different types of surveys.
Prior experience with 3D Scanning preferred.
Experience using Trimble GNSS and Survey Controller or tablet.
Knowledge and experience with Boundary Alta surveys.
Ability to work extended hours, including some weekends.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and terrain conditions.
Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and do repetitive work such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time.
Required to have a valid driver license with a clean driving record
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

What You'll Do:
Lead all projects and be professional, courteous, respectful, and helpful to everyone at all times
Set direction, align resources, and execute at a high standard
Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to successfully complete the project
Supervise the total construction effort to ensure each project is constructed in accordance with safety, quality, design, budget, and schedule
Interface directly with client representatives, A-E representatives, and other contractors
Create and manage the project schedule
Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, and income/expenses, etc.)
Initiate and maintain extra work, estimating, and issuance of change orders
Assume responsibility for the productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
Represent Aristeo in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policy
Manage job cost
Coordinate subcontractors and lead contractor meetings
Write and manage subcontracts and change orders
Coach, mentor, and develop Project Engineers
Problem solve and handle all issues appropriately
Responsible for the efficient and complete closeout of the project, including financial

Self-motivation, strong leadership skills, and an interest in developing new accounts
An ability to manage all aspects of a project, including technical, safety, schedule, cost, and financial responsibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Viewpoint software
Experience in the automotive sector is preferred
Excellent problem solving and planning skills
Experience in heavy civil construction preferred but not required
Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related field or Construction Management is required
7+ years of experience in heavy industrial project management

DeMaria is seeking an experienced team-oriented Construction Project Engineer. This person will be responsible for preparing complete, accurate and timely submittal logs for construction projects based on project drawings and specifications. Accountable for receiving approved submittals from Architect or Engineer and notifying the Project Superintendent of potential schedule impact. Assist Project Manager by preparing all necessary back up relating to change requests. Responsible for timely completion of all required project close-out documents per contract. Willingness to work on projects out of state if needed.
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Responsible for preparing complete, accurate, and timely submittal logs for construction projects based on project drawings and specifications. Accountable for receiving approved submittals from Architect or Engineer and notifying the Project Superintendent of potential schedule impact. Assist Project Manager by preparing all necessary back up relating to change requests. Responsible for timely completion of all required project close-out documents per contract.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Consistently follow DBC policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual
• Responsible for the timely coordination of the submittal process (securing, reviewing, and distributing) to maintain the project schedule.
• Coordinate all aspects of the project closeout process.
• Secure back-up for all change requests
• Complete Project Engineer Training Rotation Program
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Obtain all applicable permits if DBC is responsible, if not, determine if required information was sent to the proper city office
• Distribute contract documents to subcontractors, including drawings, specifications, and general conditions. Include any accepted alternates or addendums with documents
• Distribute final requirement documentation to subcontractors and bookkeeper
• Schedule all required construction meetings with required personnel, subcontractors, architects and owners
• Take accurate and complete meeting minutes and distribute timely
• Attend and participate in all project meetings and company training
QUALIFICATIONS (Skills, knowledge, experience)
• Bachelors degree in a construction-related field with a minimum of 2+ years construction related experience
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field.
• Strong and effective communicator, both verbally and written, who can interface cooperatively with various departments of the company, as well as clients and subcontractors
• Possess good organizational, analytical and problem-solving ability
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Keen financial aptitude
• Proficient in use, or quickly capable of learning Timberline and Microsoft Project software
• Represent the company at all times with high moral and ethical conduct.

We are seeking a Professional Project Layout/Survey Engineer to join and strengthen our team!
Key Responsibilities include:
Prepare layout documents and computations associated with ALTA, Boundary and Topographic Surveys etc.
Prepare layout and As-built drawings and descriptions utilizing AutoCAD and other related software packages as directed.
Prepare and manage project schedule.
Prepares standard forms and communicates the project requirements and expectations.
Communicates and coordinates schedules with project team.
Reviews data and documents developed by team for accuracy and precision.
Analyzes data from various sources, e.g., traditional field survey, point cloud, GIS, etc. to develop and prepare plans and reports.
Provide construction-related services including correspondence with team, construction plan interpretation, point data extraction, stakeout reviews, etc.
Review applicable reference materials and location specific statutes and requirements and communicates knowledge with teammates and clients.
Review and evaluate project documentation, e.g., field notes, title work, surveys, property descriptions, etc.
Qualifications Include:
Minimum 3 years experience
Experience using levels, conventional total stations, robotic instruments, surveying equipment while collecting field survey data for different types of surveys.
Prior experience with 3D Scanning preferred.
Experience using Trimble GNSS and Survey Controller or tablet.
Knowledge and experience with Boundary Alta surveys.
Ability to work extended hours, including some weekends.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and terrain conditions.
Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and do repetitive work such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time.
Required to have a valid driver license with a clean driving record
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
