Lupi Orthodontics has been improving smiles in the Stafford area since 1994, and we have no plans of stopping anytime soon! We use sophisticated technology to apply and maintain braces and Invisalign aligners as well as diagnose issues causing sleep apnea. WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS AS A CLINICAL ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT
As a Clinical Orthodontic Assistant at Lupi Orthodontics, your typical full- or part-time work schedule will be:
Mondays between 11:30 AM and 7:30 PM
Tuesdays between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM
Wednesdays between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM
Thursdays between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
Your responsibilities will be diverse and engaging. Picture yourself preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, taking patient records, and providing chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures. You'll play a vital role in educating patients on proper orthodontic care and hygiene, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Additionally, you'll have the exciting task of placing and removing braces and changing archwires. Your day-to-day work will be essential in helping patients achieve their dream smiles!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CLINICAL ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT
High school diploma or equivalent

Overview

Provide chair side assistance to the Dentist during dental examinations and treatment
Charting during the dental examination
Take and process X-rays
Sterilize and maintain instruments, as well as the Sterilization Area

Maintain a clean and professional office environment

Strong Phlebotomy skills

Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required
Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
