Responsibilities
Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent including the store leadership team (SLT).
Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates through effective and fair leadership.
Responsible for owning and delegating leadership tasks to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues.
Partner with the SLT to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret/disseminate company directives.
Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
Provide individual and team performance feedback.
Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus.
Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modelling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Associates are expected to climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store. Associates should be able to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.
Consistently provide the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.

Qualifications
Proven experience delivering sales, exceptional customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
2+ years of experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.

Customs & FTZ Operations Management (45%)
Maintain our FTZ agreement (Production Notification Scope of Authority) in line with business needs.
Ensure products are properly classified in accordance with US Customs regulations and maintain SAP Database.
Oversee daily activities: entry 7501, admissions E214, withdrawals, inventory tracking and perform Customs operations to meet high standards in terms of deadlines, costs, and reliability.
Manage exports from FTZ (T&E)
Reconcile ACH-PMS.
Monitor FTZ savings and prepare annual reports (e.g., Blanket CBP Form 216, Annual Reconciliation, OFIS reporting).
Monitor the performance of our Customs broker and ensure compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve optimal Customs operations.
Collaboration with Customs authorities: collaborate with local and national Customs authorities and FTZ trade associations such as NAFTZ to maintain strong relationships and ensure compliance with all regulations.

The Family Support Manager is responsible for making decisions and taking actions appropriate to ensure that every child has a permanent home that provides physical and emotional safety. To ensure this occurs, Family Support Manager position has three main areas of focus:

Collaborate with other BT Regional Staff to match volunteer support families with families seeking support.

Take appropriate actions to reach consensus with both families regarding the Support Plan and the general path forward for all parties.
Mentoring and Coaching
Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching to both volunteer and support-seeking families to ensure successful implementation of the Support Plan.

Promote the development of social and personal competence.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

TIMING, LOCATION AND COMPENSATION
Better Together seeks to fill this position as soon as possible. The job is full-time and may require some work in the evenings and on weekends. In addition, Family Support Managers participate in our on-call schedule rotation. Better Together is headquartered in Naples, Florida, but this position must reside in Orange County.
A majority of your work time in this role will be spent in the community, helping families. Individuals in this role must be comfortable functioning and making decisions in crisis situations. This can involve personally helping individuals relocate to safe spaces and transporting to a safe space. Additionally, individuals in this role will be expected to attend weekly in-person team meetings and discuss the status of their cases with the team. There also will be quarterly in-person team meetings during which goals will be set and you will be expected to make suggestions on how to seize new opportunities.
