Houman Kashanipour ("HK") is a global, transformational executive with a demonstrated track record of conceiving and leading organizations to execute breakthrough strategies that drive business results. HK has experience in leading turnarounds, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions and operations integrations, with a common thread being his relentless focus on developing exceptional customer relationships. He currently leads the start-up of a subsidiary of Wechai (a $16 billion China based company) in North America. In 2015, he delivered the first EPA certification by a Chinese engine company while driving market-entry strategies, products and a support network. His passion for leading and focus on building strong and capable teams contribute to breakthrough strategies that propel the business forward.

Previous to Wechai, North America, HK served as President, Pure Power Technologies, a newly formed subsidiary of Navistar. While reporting to the CEO, his responsibilities included leading the development, delivery, and service & operations organizations.

HK's functional experience spans across Operations, International Expansions, Global Procurement and Strategic Planning. His early career foundation was in Engineering, where he developed a first of kind manufacturing process for connecting rods, resulting in $35 per day cost savings. He was awarded the "Young Engineer of the Year" by SME for process innovations used. He has experience reporting to a board, working with regulators, government, and community at large.

He is an exceptionally quick learner and embraces the need to move from conception to execution to act upon market opportunities. He has advised and worked routinely with Boards and has volunteered as a mentor to many emerging leaders in multiple industries. HK can add value to board discussions involving review of strategy, M&A, risk management, capital allocation and government relations.
