Job DescriptionDescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team and support the daily nutritional needs of residents in our retirement community. The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meal preparation, serving residents, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and supporting the dietary team in delivering high-quality service. The Cafeteria Aide will help with the transition of students into and around the lunchroom. They will also assist students in the orderly procurement of their lunches. The Aide will help supervise students while eating to assure that they are orderly, safe, and mannerly during the lunchtime. The Aide will work with students to learn appropriate lunchroom etiquette, good manners, cleaning up after themselves, and encouraging appropriate, positive intermingling of students. Works with facility staff to provide optimal nutritional care and demonstrates excellent customer service to patients, guests and staff. Follows diet manual handbook and diet spreadsheets to ensure therapeutic meal compliance with prescribed diet order. * Prepares and serves food within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements using required kitchen utensils and equipment.
