This involves cleaning both the inside and outside floors and tables and washing any dishes or serving utensils. e. At the end of the day make sure there are adequate supplies, including rags and any prep that is needed for the next day. f. Assist the students as needed throughout the lunch periods. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To actively supervise students in the cafeteria during the lunchtime period. The Cafeteria Aide will help with the transition of students into and around the lunchroom. They will also assist students in the orderly procurement of their lunches. The Aide will help supervise students while eating to assure that they are orderly, safe, and mannerly during the lunchtime. The Aide will work with students to learn appropriate lunchroom etiquette, good manners, cleaning up after themselves, and encouraging appropriate, positive intermingling of students.
