What You'll Do:
The DirectSupportProfessional provides high-quality support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by fostering strong relationships in the residential group home and community settings.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) including but not limited to, feeding, toileting, assistance with hygiene, monitoring and/or administering medications and all areas of adult daily living skills.
Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) for daily living, transportation, medication and more.
Transports consumers within the community using the company van.
Deliver high-quality services in community, residential, and facility settings.
Build strong relationships with consumers and external stakeholders.
Who You Are:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience: At least 6 months of previous experience in direct care or related field preferred.
Requirements: Possess a valid driver's license & clean driving record.
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
