We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus
Pay range: $60,000- $68,000 based on licensure and experience
Bonus: $3,000 sign-on
Schedule: Full-time, some flexibility, on call hours
Supervision for associate level licensed staff is included
Responsibilities:
Supervision of an interdisciplinary team of professionals providing services in the community to children and their families
Providing evidence-based individual therapy in a variety of settings
Facilitating relationships and serving as a link between the treatment team, the individual, natural supports, guardians, local agencies and the community
Minimizing the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with the child's daily living and personal development
Supporting the team in providing the family with the development of various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management
Managing a caseload of 8-12 families
Overseeing and participating in a first responder on-call system available to individuals served by the team and/or their natural support network

Job Responsibilities:
Helps plan and implement community interactive experiences and interest-based classes as specified in each client's individual support plan (ISP).
Completes documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
Complies with behavior support policies and procedures and implements approved behavior support programs. 4. Maintains certification in medication administration, CPR and First Aid.
Attends departmental meetings
Attends all required training and provides HR with updated personal information as mandated.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
Complies with all standards to assure the health and safety of all staff and clients we serve.
Complies with and implements all protocols for individuals including but not limited to: high risk plans, dining plans, seizure management plans, positioning schedules, etc.

Intensive In-Home Therapeutic Services (IIHS) are time-limited therapeutic intervention services for youth who are at high risk of placement in professional treatment centers or foster care due to serious behavioral health challenges. IIH Services seek to prevent these out-of-home placements when possible and preserve normal family living arrangements through the use of in-home supports. For youth who have already entered treatment centers, IIH Services can help them return home sooner by giving their families the tools needed to provide better at-home care and natural supports.

This team provides a variety of clinical rehabilitative interventions available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Mobile Crisis Team Lead

Serves as the primary contact and coordinator of services supporting individuals with Mental Health or Substance Abuse Issues in residential, school, workplace and community settings. Supervises and directs the work of MCM dispatchers and responders to provide quality services. Assists with incoming crisis calls and helps team members to triage and dispatch responders for quality and timely response. Provides clinical support to dispatchers and responders as needed.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with paraprofessional and clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardize procedures and expedite PCP implementation.
Participates in a first responder on-call system available to consumers and/or his/her natural support network on a 24/7/365 basis; coordinates “first response” resources according to consumer need and the PCP.
Provides employees with individual-specific training and training in the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by the population and age to be served.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and applying corrective action to employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Completes Service Authorization Requests as needed and ensure that current service authorization is in place prior to the provision of any service
Provides clinical supervision to all employees
Minimizes the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with the recipient's daily living and personal development.
Completes documentation of services including a daily full service note that includes the name of the person supported, Medicaid identification number, date of service, purpose of contact, describes the interventions, includes the time spent performing the interventions, effectiveness of the intervention, the signature and credentials of the staff providing the service.
Requirements:
May be required to be a Qualified Professional as defined by the service definition requirements. Qualified Professional is defined as an individual who is:
(a) an individual who holds a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession, except a registered nurse who is licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing who also has four years of full-time accumulated experience in MH/DD/SA with the population served; the QP function may be completed by a Certified Clinical Addiction Specialist (CCAS) or Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS);
or (b) a graduate of a college or university with a Master's degree in a human service field and has one year of full-time post-graduate degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served.
or (c) a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human service field with two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served; or
(d) A graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services with four years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served. Must meet the education, experience, licensure/certification requirements specified by the service definition of the service being provided
General working knowledge of the human services delivery system in North Carolina
Valid driver's license, auto insurance.
Employee supervisory experience preferred
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred

This position requires an energetic and organized person with proven knowledge, skills, and abilities in achieving quantitative placement goals, knowledge and experience preparing clients for employment, developing unsubsidized jobs with private and public employers, placing clients into jobs, and providing follow-up support services to assure job retention. Must demonstrate and apply knowledge about disabilities, including disability and privacy laws. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff, exhibit effective customer service skills, promote client self-advocacy skills and counseling skills. This position provides and coordinates a wide range of supportive employment services. The program's practice model is based on the Individual Supportive Employment with Long-Term Vocational Supports as defined by the Department of Justice. Assist adults with a wide range of mental health issues and conditions in obtaining employment
Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include:
Bachelor's degree in human services field from a college or university. 1 year of experience working with intellectually developmentally disabled persons, mental health, substance abuse, or a Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruiting and job placement, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included:
Regularly required to lift 10 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. Must be able to pull a minimum of 10 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear."

Responsibilities Include:
Match job seeking clients and employers using a variety of professional job placement and job development skills.
Provide follow along supports and retention services including on site job coaching to ensure client success and employer satisfaction.
Assist clients in obtaining information about benefits and how they are impacted by the client's employment.
Establish a job matrix (accounts) to support employment interest expressed by clients served.
Participate as a member of a supported employment team consisting of a clinical director, peer support staff and mental health professionals.
Engage clients and assist them in identifying areas of employment interest.
Education/Experience:
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and at least 1 year of experience working with intellectually developmentally disabled persons, mental health, substance abuse, , or a Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruiting and job placement, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug-screening exam, and possess a valid Driver's License.
Must demonstrate and apply knowledge about disabilities, including disability and privacy laws.
