Francis Alexander McKenzie-Muirson ( Kenneth’s McKenzie- Muirson’s grandfather) born March 20, 1819, in Kinkell Castle, Avoch, Scotland.

They had a son James Stuart born circa 1842 in the same area of Scotland.

Thomas Muirson born 1849 was Francis’s first born son and Kenneth’s father.

2017 The investment management functions of Investors Group and Mackenzie Investments join to form a single global investment management organization Mackenzie Investments establishes Boston Office and Global Quantitative Equity team

2019 Irish and Hong Kong entities become subsidiaries of Mackenzie Financial Corporation and are renamed Mackenzie Investments Europe Limited (MIEL) and Mackenzie Investments Asia Limited (MIAL), respectively

2021 Mackenzie acquires GLC Asset Management, with an addition of $36 billion in AUM, making us one of the largest asset managers in Canada.
