You'll also assist with the integration, start-up, and debugging of new or moved equipment. * Team Up: Work with external contractors on equipment servicing and installations, and help guide other technicians in repairs and maintenance. * Stay Organized: Maintain accurate documentation of all equipment repairs and modifications and assist in managing our spare parts inventory. * Prioritize Safety: Follow all company safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and help identify and correct any safety hazards. Qualifications * Actively pursuing an Electrician's license. * Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance is preferred. * Knowledge of PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens), robotics (ABB, Fanuc), and HMI systems (Rockwell, iFix) is a plus. * Familiarity with the NEC and experience reading electrical prints, including European styles. * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and obtain a forklift and company truck driver's license. * Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. * Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * A detail-oriented team player with a strong work ethic and a focus on safety. Work may also be accomplished using mechanical lifts as working platforms. -The noise level in the shipyard environment is usually loud, especially inside of vessels. Candidate will be performing routine maintenance and repair of pumps, hoses, grinders, and associated tools of the trade. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair field returned equipment Capable of working with High Voltage equipment 440V, 460V, 30amp up to 100amp equipment. Understands how to safely build electrical disconnects and size breakers to protect equipment. Able to configure step down transformers installed within equipment, to run auxiliary functions. Ultra-High Pressure Knowledge a plus but not a requirement. Hydraulic pump, positive displacement pumps and centrifugal pump knowledge a plus.
