Electrical Apprentice Project: Solar The Electrical Apprentice position is an entry-level role that combines hands-on field experience with classroom education to prepare individuals for a career as a certified electrician. Under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician, apprentices assist with the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, residential, and telecommunications environments. The Journeyman Electrician performs skilled electrical work in construction, installation, repair & maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures at various City facilities. This position will work on interior/exterior lighting systems and lighting controls. They are responsible for performing tasks in accordance with the NEC standards and codes.
