We are seeking an experienced licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our integrated facilities management team for our client portfolio. What this job involves: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a comprehensive electrical program across multiple sites including data centers, laboratories, manufacturing plants, and general office space. This position will be servicing multiple locations in the MetroWest area across several different buildings. Location: Franklin & Hopkinton (MA) Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM w/rotating on-call schedule for afterhours emergencies Reporting to: Engineering Manager Estimated Compensation: $40.87 - $45.67 an hour paid bi-weekly, the range listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A job offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data What your day-to-day will look like: - Manage electrical systems in data centers, labs, manufacturing facilities, and general building requests Oversee and coordinate with vendors for maintenance of: Generators UPS systems Substations Electrical panels - Develop and manage a comprehensive electrical program, including: Arc flash studies Infrared scanning Preventive maintenance schedules - Respond to and resolve electrical inquiries and issues across all facilities - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations - Implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices - Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute electrical projects - Participate in on-call rotation to address emergency situations - Work with different business units on requests Assisting and providing data with ISO (International Organization for Standardization) audits as required - Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Capable of standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods Minimum Qualifications: Must have a Massachusetts Journeyman license Eight (8)+ years of experience as a licensed electrician Extensive knowledge of electrical systems in data centers, laboratories, and manufacturing environments Proven experience managing vendors and contractors Strong understanding of arc flash studies and infrared scanning techniques Familiarity with UPS systems, generators, and substation operations Experience developing and managing electrical maintenance programs Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, software, and building management systems Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and drawings Willingness to be on-call and respond to after-hours emergencies Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required Valid driver's license and clean driving record Hands on Electrical Thermography Infrared inspection experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Military service, union training, vocational education Infrared Thermography Certificate Experience with green energy solutions and sustainability initiatives Exposure to the following CMMS/BMS/BAS: Johnson Controls/JCI, Siemens & Corrigo Please submit your application with an updated resume, location, contact information, relevant licenses and certifications.     GENERAL SUMMARY: The Trust 1 Apprentice is responsible for assisting in the install and servicing of plumbing, heating, and cooling units, following all applicable codes, under the direction of a technician. The Apprentice is also responsible for learning the plumbing, heating and cooling professions by participating in on the job training, attending educational courses, training, and following the coaching and teaching of the Technician and/or Managers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provides basic plumbing, heating, cooling and drain cleaning support services for customers at the direction of a technician. Develops basic knowledge of plumbing, heating, and cooling principles through on the job learning, courses/trainings and reading of educational materials during downtimes on the job site. Develops basic knowledge of service tools and testing devices. Develops soldering skills to support the Technician. Develops skills to perform planned maintenance on residential systems with assistance of a technician. Installs hang stickers and valve tags, as well as distributes flyers in the surrounding area as instructed by the Technician. Responds to all forms of communications, including voicemails and emails, by the end of business the same day received. Assists Technicians in maintaining clean, neat vehicles and job sites and projects a clean, well-groomed professional appearance always. Attends group meetings and training, as needed. Participates in monthly and special company meetings, as appropriate. Works with Technicians, Service Manager, and Install Manager to mutually establish performance improvements and seek out ongoing education/training opportunities. Uses good judgment and self-control in areas wherein the company entrusts him to maintain company and customer confidentiality. Sets an example in being punctual and dependable. Reports to work promptly. Responds immediately to emergency calls during back-up “on-call” shift. Perform other duties as assigned.
