Job Description
Olsson provides engineering services for large commercial developments, hospitals, laboratories, school/university buildings, and military facilities. As an electrical engineering student intern, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You'll work alongside experienced staff and engineers using both AutoCAD and Revit to create construction documents and specifications. Our electrical design services can include power distribution, lighting, and electrical modeling.

Position Summary
The Water Systems/Renewable Energy/Engineering team at North Platte has responsibilities that support safely monitoring, maintaining, and operating the FERC regulated Sutherland Project. The project includes reservoirs, cooling water and generation canals for Gerald Gentleman Station and the North Platte Hydro. This includes dams, embankments, diversion structures and other hydraulic control structures. There are also irrigation canals and laterals further downstream that include similar structures. Additionally, this team supports generation at the North Platte Hydro, Kearney Hydro, Canaday Station, and the Ainsworth Wind Generation facility. This position will support all areas mentioned above and have a strong focus on large projects that are identified in the long-range plan. Working with consultant engineers, developing project designs and plans, project management, construction management, and troubleshooting are also required functions of this position.
Education, Training and Experience
Engineer Level I & II: Bachelor of science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited university or college or Professional Engineering license obtained by accredited examination. Entry level position with assignments designed to develop general knowledge of professional engineering practice in the electric utility industry and introduce customer/supplier communication skills. Second level position with assignments designed to develop competent technical knowledge within an engineering discipline, develop customer relations skills, and introduce project management skills.

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of electronic components and integrated circuitry for advanced hardware systems. **Qualifications**

+ 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
+ Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design.
+ Experience with schematic and PCB layout tools (Altium preferred).
+ Knowledge of electronic sensors, controls, system interfaces, and protocols.
+ Strong understanding of engineering documentation and standard processes.
