Engineering Manager
Engineering manager job in Los Angeles, CA
(Santa Monica, CA | On-site)
* Be at the forefront of a revolution in real estate and built environment decision-making.
* Work alongside a visionary founding team with experience across AI, real estate, and startups.
* A chance to reshape the future of an industry worth trillions.
About Diald AI
Diald AI is transforming how commercial real estate decisions are made. Our AI-powered platform equips investors, developers, and lenders with next-generation insights-replacing gut feel and outdated methods with precision, clarity, and speed. We're on a mission to revolutionize an age-old industry, and we're looking for a seasoned real estate professional to help us lead the charge.
Cultural Fit
At Diald AI, we are building a company for people who
love
the work - not just the idea of the work. Our culture rewards curiosity, intensity, and a genuine desire to push boundaries in an industry long overdue for change. We operate with minimal hierarchy, fast decision cycles, and a deep respect for those who take ownership and move with purpose.
We're looking for someone who finds joy in the grind: a builder who works hard not because they're told to, but because solving hard problems is intrinsically motivating. Someone who is energized, not intimidated, by fast pace, ambiguity, and the responsibility that comes with true autonomy.
Selflessness is core to who we are. Team and company come before ego. Flexibility is expected - roles evolve quickly, and the right person adapts even faster. If you prefer stability, predictability, and playing a narrow role in a large machine, this is likely not the right fit. Corporate “cogs” struggle here.
But for the right leader - someone who sees work as a craft, not a chore - Diald AI offers something rare: the opportunity to build a category-defining product that meaningfully reshapes the built world. We move quickly, learn continuously, take calculated risks, and support each other fiercely.
If the idea of staying up late because you
want
to finish something - not because you
have
to - feels familiar, you'll thrive here.
