Major Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and improvement of manufacturing, machining, and assembly processes.
Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Provide technical leadership to production teams, machinists, and engineering staff.
Plan and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to support production targets and optimize workflow.
Evaluate equipment, tooling, and facility assets to ensure reliability, efficiency, and operational readiness.
Investigate production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Establish and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process documentation, and control plans.

Maintain accurate production records, reports, and engineering documentation.

Requirements
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
Work Experience Required
Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing or machining operations, including 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Experience in CNC machining, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated experience leading process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience with ERP systems and engineering documentation practices.
Skills & Knowledge Required
Strong technical knowledge of machining processes, CNC equipment, tooling, and production systems.
Ability to develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Proficiency in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T

Design, Manage, and Execute material handling plant automation projects from estimating through engineering and installation/commissioning with an emphasis on Electrical Design and Controls aspects of the project.

MSA has an opportunity for a Project Manager in any of our 17 office locations. This position primary manages Water/Wastewater projects working with municipal clients in the public sector. This role involves frequent client interaction, mentorship of technical staff, and oversight on technical aspects of projects. MSA supports Water/Wastewater clients through planning, design, construction, and operations.
This position is Flex Time eligible and hybrid working arrangements are available.

Responsibilities
The work you will do
Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
Client relationship management and business development
Assist with mentoring emerging engineering staff
Oversight of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
Assistant with project funding packages with assistance from funding staff
Provide project updates at public forums
Qualifications
What you bring
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering required
Experience with client interaction including council/board meetings required
Project management experience required
5+ years of prior experience with Water/Wastewater projects required
Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred

Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $88,871 to $142,194 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
