The Relay EngineeringManager reports to the Director of Relay Engineering and helps lead a cohesive team of relay protection and control design professionals, including drafters, designers, and engineers. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure the proper training and supervision of all Engineering personnel, while developing and maintaining cost-effective programs that keep our hotel operating smoothly, safely, and beautifully. Responsibilities

Inspect the physical plant and equipment, and supervise the maintenance and preventative maintenance programs for all hotel areas.
Coordinate with other departments on all work necessary to maintain general conditions, safety, and health standards set by hotel policy and legal requirements.
Interview, hire, counsel, train, and discipline Engineering associates in partnership with the Director of Human Resources.
Directly supervise Engineering associates in the operation and control of utilities to ensure efficient hotel services and guest comfort.
Recommend future capital projects, obtain bids, and supervise contractors during project work.
Maintain all special permits and licenses required by local authorities for hotel operations.
ManageEngineering schedules, staffing, and payroll while maintaining accurate personnel records, utility logs, and Engineering documents.
Qualifications
Must hold valid First Class Licenses.
Must have extensive facilities maintenance, HVAC, and mechanical experience.
Prior resort or hotel engineering leadership experience required.
Proven experience managing a crew of five (5) or more Engineering professionals.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and other times as needed based on operational demands-because leaks and power outages have zero respect for office hours.
Comfortable working in both the interior and exterior areas of the hotel or resort, in all types of weather.
5+ years of Engineering leadership experience preferred, ideally within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred
