Primary Purpose of Position

Role Overview:
In this role you will lead a team of 8-10 Engineers, providing management of the electrical and I&C engineering design functions with respect to plant needs and regulatory requirements. This entails supporting small to medium sized modifications, oversight of DCP's, staff development (getting new hires their quals), and participating in planning, budget, and staff reviews.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage Electrical and I&C Design Engineering team
Lead design change effort
Mentor junior engineers; improve teams' proficiency
Support NRC Inspections and outages
Provide technical expertise/develop troubleshooting plans for maintaining, improving and troubleshooting generators, voltage regulators and motors
Support/develop resolutions to fleet and plant specific DCS issues
Job Requirements:
B.S degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university
10 years in the commercial nuclear industry in electrical and/or I&C engineering design
Demonstrated experience in a Lead, Supervisor or Manager role
Strong knowledge of power/high voltage work
Experience with controls design/PLC oversight
Cyber Security background a plus
PE a plus
