**AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Atlanta on February 11th and 12th, 2026** . This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2026.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Ecology, Biology or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
+ Valid US Driver's License is required for this position. As condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

This individual will complete field work, permit applications and task management for a variety of market sectors, including transmission, oil and gas, renewable, and transportation.

APTIM is seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Project Manager to join our team of engineers, scientists, and technicians who are passionately committed to safely solving our clients' environmental concerns. The qualified candidate will be a hands-on Project Manager, in a fast paced, multi-facetted program dedicated to problem solving and completing projects with precision and accuracy. They will participate in scope of work development, project planning, project oversight, project management, conference calls with clients and other environmental consultants work related to Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments. The project manager will also be responsible for evaluating long term liability including cost and evaluating options during site development to reduce long term remediation cost. This may include environmental assessments and remediation projects for state and local government, heavy industry, and retail petroleum clients. The project manager will also be responsible for dewatering permitting and dewatering oversight. The successful candidate will profitably and safely manage environmental assessment/compliance/remediation projects to client expectations from proposal through execution to invoicing and be able to effectively mentor less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Managing projects in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Kentucky and Alabama
Managing client projects from proposal through execution and Invoicing.
Managing budgets from $500K and up
Interaction and cooperation with the client and the client's staff, vendors, contractors.
Developing and executing various work scopes while maintaining project schedules and budgetary goals.
Conducts work as part of a project team, adjusting work priorities to quickly changing site conditions and project schedules.
Monitors and manages budgets and timelines for execution of projects.
Manages project schedule that run for over multiple years and balances multiple priorities to meet project targets and timelines.
Interpretation and evaluation of scientific data.
Provide technical support to projects in all phases of work and a variety of scopes that include but are not limited to: conceptual design, environmental due diligence, environmental site characterization, monitoring, dewatering permitting, remediation design, regulatory reporting procurement, and construction.
Participates in mentoring junior staff.
Adheres to established health and safety policies and procedures and executes work in a safe and conscientious manner.
Prepares or reviews technical documents for regulatory agencies and private clients.
This role is remote but travel up between 10-20% of the time
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Project Management, Environmental Engineering, or other Science degree required.
10-20 years of experience in project execution/management and personnel management in the environmental industry
Strong organizational and tracking skills to manage 30 projects or more over a long period of time to meet deadlines and remain on budget.
Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
Experience with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and due diligence services
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple activities on an on-going basis by given deadline.
Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle.
Completion of 40-hour OSHA-HAZWOPER training and annual refreshers.
The following certifications are a plus: Professional geologist/Engineer, Licensed Asbestos Inspector; Asbestos Project Monitor; Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, Indoor Air Quality Training.
Indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, and/or environmental compliances services experience are a plus.
Must be from TN, AL, KY or GA
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing projects for both government and private clients.
Experience working in Georgia, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, and/or Kentucky geologic environments

EBI Consulting is seeking a full-time Project Scientist in the Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) Services Group to conduct Phase II Subsurface Investigation and remediation projects for commercial real estate, lending, telecommunications, industrial, institutional, and public sector clientele. This position requires a strong understanding of and experience with site characterization, environmental sampling techniques and methodologies (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, indoor air, etc.), data analysis, remediation technologies, state and Federal environmental regulatory framework, and managing drilling subcontractors and laboratories. Seeking a Project Manager to perform and evaluate Due Diligence Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) to ASTM and industry standards, including site reconnaissance, report preparation and coordinate services on projects. Acts as a consultant in the coordination of internal personnel and subcontractors for completion of projects.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
This is a professional position that conducts site inspections to evaluate applications to install modify or repair onsite sewage and disposal systems that generate up to ten thousand gallons of flow per day. This position conducts plan reviews to ensure applications for onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems meet permitting requirements of all pertinent laws and rules governing the installation, modification or repair on onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems. This position conducts compliance inspections and on-going monitoring, when required, to ensure that onsite systems are constructed, operated and maintained so as not to be a threat to the public health or degrade drinking, surface or ground water resources. This position coordinates with local and state agencies to ensure compliance with rules and regulations regarding onsite systems.
This position will conduct site inspections, plan reviews, and construction compliance inspections for the permits to install, modify or repair onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems to ensure compliance with Chapter 381, Florida Statutes, Chapter 64E-6, Florida Administrative Code, and all other pertinent laws and rules. This position performs activities relating to permitting, monitoring and enforcement of businesses located in areas zoned for industrial/manufacturing use where onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems are utilized. Meets with property owners, engineers, developers, licensed septic contractors and others to discuss design criteria, propose solutions to abate violations and educate them as to the pertinent laws and rules governing onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems.
This position will participate as the ATU/PBTS septic coordinator overseeing the registration, inspection and collection of fees for this program.
As part of the inspection procedure, regularly interprets and explains the significance of public health laws, administrative codes, and other sanitation and safety standards to facility operators. Regularly prepares inspection reports, maintains records and lists and enters facility and inspection info into EHD. Coordinates the annual re-permitting of all assigned program facilities.
This position will perform work in the septic section of Environmental Health to include permit review and processing, compliance inspections and site evaluations in all areas of the OSTDS program. This position will also issue permits that are in compliance with Chapter 64E-6, F.A.C. Furthermore, this position will perform work in the Facilities section to ensure facilities are in compliance with associated F.A.C codes.
This position will be responsible for timely submittal of all paperwork pertaining to assigned programs including EAR's.
This position will perform all other duties as required including inspections, sample collections, sanitary surveys and other compliance investigations.
This position may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency duty required includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disasters or threat of disaster, man-made or natural. Essential Functions:
Works with supervision and employees in applying occupational health, facility safety, ergonomics, emergency preparedness, and hazardous waste management. Activities are performed in accordance with organization and program standards and procedures to foster a positive safety culture. Works with regulatory agencies, and other Aerojet Rocketdyne site and external occupational safety professionals.
Conducts area inspections and audits and evaluates the impact of emerging issues and regulations on company operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies in regard to safety, health, and environmental requirements to maintain 100% regulatory and company policy requirements.
Performs health and safety evaluations, investigations and methodologies for continual improvement and prevention of employee injuries/illnesses and hardware/process improvements throughout the site. Coordinates resolutions, evaluates engineering design and performs safety analyses, ensuring appropriate selection of control measures and hazard mitigation.
Plans, develops, directs and assesses programs to achieve and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, with emphasis on facility safety programs and associated monitoring.
Evaluates existing or emergent risk management control technologies and provides information, regulatory interpretation, and technical expertise to management and employees.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and minimum of 6 years' experience in safety, health and environment programs. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior EH&S related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior EH&S related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Hazardous waste management experience (current RCRA and DOT training preferred).
Experience/knowledge of Environmental regulations (i.e., air, water/storm-water, waste, SPCC, EPCRA/SARA) including permitting and compliance.
Experience with life safety programs (Confined space, control of hazardous energy, hot work, working at heights, etc.).
Full understanding of OSHA General Industry safety and health standards is required (Confined Spaces, Fall Protection, Lock Out Tag Out, Machine Guarding, Electrical Safety NFPA 70E and Propellant, Energetics & Pyrotechnics).
