What You Will Be Doing:
The successful candidate should have a demonstrated ability to navigate local, state, and federal regulations with expertise in leading labor and material estimates, proposals, and business development efforts. They should be capable of developing and expanding existing market connections and client relationships. Areas of business include:
• Preparing environmental compliance reports in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements (e.g., RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA)
• Periodic overnight travel to client locations throughout the U.S. to perform environmental compliance audits or to assist clients with specific environmental compliance determinations and tasks.
• Preparing stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) plans, and hazardous waste contingency plans (HWCPs).
• Preparing environmental permitting and compliance programs for multiple environmental media, including air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, and EPCRA (e.g., Tier II, Form R or TRI 312 and 313 reporting).
• Managing projects while mentoring junior-level staff.
• Ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive action is taken to address non-conformance at client sites.
• In some cases, providing clients with project management, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work associated with environmental regulatory compliance and permitting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant Environmental Compliance experience.
• Strong consulting and critical thinking skills are required.
• Project management experience, including developing scopes of work, cost proposals and schedules, and managing multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Professional Engineering license, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or other environmental certifications, is preferred.
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
• SPCC Plans and SWPPPs
• EPCRA 312 and 313 reporting
• Hazardous waste reporting
• Air emission source permitting
• Stormwater/wastewater (NPDES) permitting.
• Compliance auditing

Working experience in the petroleum cleanup field
Working knowledge of regulations related to environmental investigations and permits.

Job Description
In the CDL Driver role, you will be traveling to locations along an assigned route where you will be responsible for packing, transporting, and properly disposing of waste materials in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. This position requires the maintenance of records with accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to follow instruction, and to work independently once provided proper training.
This position requires 4 overnights and some weekend work. You will be provided with a company card to pay for a hotel and given a daily stipend to cover food and other expenses.
Job Details
Package and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
Complete required paperwork in accordance with appropriate regulations and customer policies, practices, and procedures.
Load and secure materials and waste or unload truck at various customer sites or Clean Earth locations.
Prepare and load truck with necessary supplies.
Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts daily while communicating any issues to the Manager or Dispatcher for resolution.
Perform a documented pre-trip and post-trip check on assigned truck prior to leaving and closing each day.
Plan schedule/route based on customer needs by reviewing daily paperwork (e.g. manifests, route sheets, etc.).
Follow routing software route schedule.
Follow all DOT guidelines while driving.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
At least 21 years of age
High School diploma or GED
Understand, read, and write English
Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc)
Willing and able to wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator (as needed)
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
Preferred Qualifications
Hazmat endorsement (candidates will be expected to obtain as a condition of employment after hire)
Valid TWIC Card
At least 1 year of route driving experience
Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations

Environmental Engineer Essential Duties:
• We are currently seeking a mid-level geologist/engineer to assist with investigation and remediation environmental projects across the U.S.
• This position consists of approximately 35% field work.
• This position requires a hard-working, safe, efficient, and detail-oriented employee that is organized, works well with a team, and is able to work independently once trained. It will require work both independently and with other team members and may require periodic overtime and travel.
• Assist in preparation of work plans, field sampling plans, quality assurance project plans and health & safety plans and technical reports.
• Perform soil, groundwater, air, soil gas, sediment and surface water sampling using appropriate sampling tools and equipment, and employing methods consistent with applicable regulatory standards, protocols and technical guidance.
• Conduct field work including soil boring and well installation oversight; aquifer testing; remedial pilot tests; remedial construction oversight, and remedial system operation and maintenance.
• Logging of soils during the installation of soil borings, test pits, excavations and monitoring well installation.
• Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Close interaction, coordination, and supervision of field crews, subcontractors, remediation contractors, laboratories and vendors.
• Data tabulation, data review and evaluation, and report writing.
• Preparation of site maps, cross-sections, groundwater contour maps, and other graphics to support reporting data collected.
• Preparation of electronic data deliverables consistent with regulatory requirements.
• Technical Writing; development of work plans and report writing.
• Knowledge of data collection methods, data review, and data interpretation.
• Receives project assignments from the Group Lead or Project Managers.
• Determines costs and time schedules for proposed work with the aid of the Group Lead.
• Assists Project Managers and client as required in selection of contractors and monitors their performance as required.
• Communicating and interaction with project team and with clients.
• Corresponding with regulatory agencies.
• Track task budgets and schedules.
• Responsible for participating in several concurrent projects.
• Some participation in bringing work into the firm.
Qualifications
Environmental Engineer Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Environmental Engineering (or similar)
• 5-10 years' experience in Environmental Engineering
• Knowledge and skill of engineering techniques, procedures and theories
• High degree of foresight and mature judgement in planning, organizing and directing projects
• Some skill and ability in personnel management and communications
• Ability to supervise technical work
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Current certifications as required by OSHA must be maintained including 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and 10-Hour OSHA Construction certification.
• Professional Registration (PG or PE).
