What You Will Do: * Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival. * Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the hotel's reservation system. * Escort guests to their tables and provide menus. * Communicate estimated wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area. * Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding hours, menus, and reservations. * Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction. * Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed. * Assist with guest recovery and resolve minor concerns with empathy and professionalism. * Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. * Regular and reliable attendance in conformance with company standards. * Perform other duties as assigned. Your Qualifications Include: * Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant hosting preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. * Professional appearance and demeanor. * Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills. * Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. * Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the restaurant. * TIPS alcohol-service certification Who You Will Supervise: N/A
