    Part-time Description At Sidekicks Stay & Play, we're not just looking for a part-time bather. We're seeking an energetic, compassionate, and ambitious individual who loves people and pets to join our supportive team. If you're passionate about pets and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you. Requirements Responsibilities: Assisting in the check-in and check-out of grooming pets Set up and clean up spa and bathing areas Bath and Dry dogs of all breeds, weights, fur types, and personalities. Prep work: Including shaving paw pads and sanitary areas, brushing, nail trims, anal-gland expression, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and facials. Documentation, Logging, and Communication: Utilizing our computer systems to document pet details, take before/after photos, and communicate with clients. Inventory & Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for performing maintenance on grooming equipment and communicating about supply needs. Assisting assigned groomer: Helping with restraint, creative dye, etc. Other duties as assigned. Weekly Schedule: Follows groomer schedule; general schedule is: Tuesday - Friday 6:45 AM to 1:45 PM (Avg. 28 hrs per week) Some Mondays/holidays/weekends Opportunities for additional hours are available. Requirements: Six Months of Bathing experience is preferred but not required High School Diploma/GED required Ability to stand for prolonged periods Ability to lift 45lb unassisted, 100lbs + with assistance Coachable Attitude, Positive Outlook, Dedication to making a positive impact Benefits: Ability to pick up extra hours in other entry-level positions at Sidekicks Stay & Play, especially near weekends/holidays. At Swann Animal Clinic, part-time employees receive discounts on services and inventory for boarding, daycare, grooming, and veterinary services (with some minor exceptions).
