Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.

* Demonstrated patient care experience.

* Must possess a valid Driver's License and current automobile insurance.

The Michigan Natural Features Inventory, a program of MSU Extension, is hiring up to twelve seasonal field technicians to conduct plant species surveys and collect plot based vegetative data on Federal, State, Municipal, NGO, and/or private lands.
Seasonal field technicians will be responsible for traveling to remote areas, preparing for and conducting rare and invasive plant species surveys; compiling plant species lists; providing descriptions of survey areas and current threats; capturing GPS data including survey locations of rare species and priority invasive species and survey tracks; taking quality photos, documenting rare plant populations using MNFI field forms or other specified monitoring data; collecting and labeling voucher specimens of new county records; reporting findings at weekly or biweekly intervals; transferring data to excel spreadsheets; collecting plot-based vegetative data, and writing summary reports of work accomplished.
Desired Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with intermediate to expert botanical skills in the identification of Michigan plants species and demonstrated field work experience.
Strong work ethic, the ability to work independently in remote areas, and be able navigate in the field via map, compass and GPS.
Ability to stay in hotels or campgrounds for up to a week at a time.

HECO's Field Service Technicians are responsible for the completion of all field service-related jobs, tasks, and final reporting upon job completion. They will work closely with our Field Service Supervisor and Operations Manager to ensure that all customer needs and job requirements are met. We are looking for someone who can learn about the motor industry. If you are a mechanically inclined individual with industrial millwright work experience, you will hit the ground running. HECO will teach you what you need to know about electric motors and the field testing this role requires.
Inspect and test various electro-mechanical equipment.
Perform electrical tests using portable electronic equipment including but not limited to: Megger, Surge, HI-Pot, and other various tests while on customer sites.
Perform mechanical inspections on sleeve bearing machines.
Perform onsite tasks such as electrical testing, vibration analysis, shaft alignments etc..
Communicate all information to customers in a clear and technical manner.
Create all final reports to be sent to customers for all completed onsite work.
Be onsite and represent HECO in a way that represents HECO's core values.
Ideal Candidate:
2+ Years of electric motor field service experience OR millwright experience with industrial machinery installation and removal.
If you are a strong mechanically inclined person with millwright experience, we will teach you the electrical/testing portion of this position.
Experience with working rotating equipment is not required but preferred.
Ability to work well in a team setting.
Basic communication skills.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

+ Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground
+ Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network's circuit post-installation
