Job Details:
Culligan Water is currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. The primary role of the FST is to provide repairs, upgrades, maintenance, and installations for Culligan and non-Culligan equipment and products. The FST will have to identify problems, assess the extent, document findings and make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts. They will also be expected to organize and prioritize daily workloads to ensure jobs are completed accurately and submitted within the required deadline. The technician's goal is to provide the highest quality service to clients in order to exceed residential and commercial customer expectations.
The Field Service Technician is a full-time position with a pay range of $20-$26/hr. depending on licensing and general work experience, plus regular bonus and over-time opportunities. This position has an expected schedule of 40-50 hours a week.,
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a water treatment company is a plus, but NOT required. We provide training for those who are inexperienced in water treatment and want a career opportunity in an exciting field that they can grow in both professionally and financially.

This position will provide on-site advice, liaison, and informal training in the installation, operation and maintenance of equipment and systems related to Block 70 F-16 on and off the aircraft. The objective of the FSE is to elevate the technical skill and abilities of the personnel responsible for the operation and maintenance of F-16 aircraft and associated equipment/systems to a level of self-sufficiency.
What You Will Be Doing
Specific tasks include but are not limited to the following:
* Provide on-site/on-equipment informal unit training to the component level on installation, maintenance and operating techniques pertaining to the adjustment, calibration, trouble-shooting, bench check, routine maintenance, inspection and repair of the prime equipment/system.
* Provide advice in the identification of and instruction on the use of special tools, handling equipment, aerospace ground equipment (AGE) and test equipment associated with and related to F-16 aircraft systems.

* Emphasize safety precautions to be taken in all training provided. Demonstrate best methods of modifications and retrofit kits related to F-16 systems.

Position Purpose
Installs, repairs, or replaces all commercial kitchen appliances throughout the District, such as ice machines, refrigerators, freezers, and washing machines; responsible for commercial kitchen appliances in throughout Child Nutrition Services (CNS) including campus kitchens.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Child Nutrition Services - Installation, Maintenance & Repair
* Services and repairs walk-in and reach-in freezers, refrigerators, ice machines, and other refrigeration equipment.
* Replaces compressors, condensers, evaporators, fan motors, and other electrical components typically found in commercial kitchen equipment.
* Installs, repairs, and replaces dish machines, ovens, steam tables, warming cabinets, and garbage disposals; as well as heating elements, light bulbs, door handles, hinges, water solenoid valves, and any components.
* Assists in the installation of convection and steamer ovens; replaces elements and electrical components in boiler section and steam chamber.
* Replaces boiler when necessary.
* Repairs and replaces steam jacketed kettles and washing machines (including pumps, timers, belts, tubs, and transmissions).
* Locates and stops gas leaks; replaces burners and pilot assemblies.
Safety
* Maintains inventory of district-owned tools, equipment, and materials. Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensures that equipment is in safe operating condition.
* Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing. Operates tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.

Minimum Required Qualifications

* EPA Certified Service Technician preferred.
* Experience: 2-5 years' related experience repairing/replacing/installing commercial kitchen appliances (HVAC Refrigeration is considered an appliance).

Job Description
The Splicer is responsible for the terminating, splicing, bonding/grounding, installing CPE into customer house, documenting, and testing of all fiber optic cables within the systems fiber optic networks and their related equipment with the end goal of providing maximum operating efficiency.
This is a field-based position, in which you would be reporting to our warehouse location then traveling out into the field for your work within our Centric communities.
Responsibilities:
This position will consist of FTTH daytime, but possibility of some night work.
Fusion splice, terminate and install assortment of fiber optic connectors and enclosures including both loose tube fiber and ribbon fiber up to an 288ct fiber cable.
Construct a splice case, including but not limited to bounding, slack storage and sealing.
Must know the fiber optic color code system (Must be able to discern colors).
Prepare and maintain splicing records, schematics and diagrams.
Proficient in using fiber tools and fiber optic test equipment including traffic meters, fusion splicer, power meter, VFL and OTDR.
Troubleshoot damaged fiber, effectively and efficiently.
Install and maintain CPE local area networks (LAN) and WiFi networks
Install and maintain network interface devices (NID) and Optical Network Terminals (ONT)
Perform skilled troubleshooting from the MDF to the demarcation point including CPE
Respond to trouble tickets within acceptable company timeframe standards
Perform routine preventive maintenance and major repairs to distribution systems
Locate buried copper and fiber optic cabling
Record and report all record changes immediately
Ensure that both he/she and all employees comply with proper safety standards/ procedures and work practices according to OSHA standards, Future Infrastructure and/or the customer, whichever standard is higher.
Able to participate in on-call rotation 24/7/365 and work overtime with/without prior notice.
Must be able to read, understand and update splice documentation and maps as required.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
1 year of experience with Fiber Terminations, Fusion Splicing and Testing in an ISP and OSP environment.
OTDR Testing and Trace Analysis.
Power Meter Testing.
Experience as a fiber optic technician, fiber optic splicer, construction with fiber optic background, or fiber optic telecommunications.
Clean & Valid Driver's License.
Ability to work hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
Up to 100% local market travel and up to 10% travel to all markets in Texas.
Physical Demands/ Work Environment:
Job requires employees to sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift objects up to 50 lbs, grasp, carry, walk, climb, speak, and listen.
Work is performed outside with the exposure of weather extremes such as but not limited to, heat, rain, and cold.
