In this role, you will be responsible for providing service on ST products at customer sites. The position provides customer contact for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed.

Position Description:
Installs intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces, which can include drilling, trenching and aerial runs.
Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that security systems are complete and satisfy customer and contractual requirements.
Assists and interfaces with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment.
Conducts tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operational.
Troubleshoots new system installations to ensure proper functioning and to ensure system meets local, county, state or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements.
Presents a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance.
Performs work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.
Promotes, builds, and maintains good customer relations and assists with contract retention.
Maintains company propriety and documentation in accordance with established policies; handles proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adheres to and supports Securitas Technology policies and procedures including all safety requirements.
Keeps abreast of changes and new developments in products and technology. Attends and completes training programs as requested.
Job Requirements:
MUST HOLD a minimum of 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
NICET Certification preferred
Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred
Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred

Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

What you will be doing
Be the initial point of customer contact for LiftSystem Action Resolution (AR) issues at Grottaglie. As required, provide assistance to Pratt & Whitney and customer personnel on technical issues which include: LiftSystem/Aircraft interface issues, Lift System troubleshooting, LiftSystem maintenance, LiftSystem repairs, and logistic support.
Provide customers with an authoritative point of contact on all issues related to the operation of the LiftSystem product and maintain connectivity between Rolls-Royce management and key customers
Ensure that all operational events are captured and recorded in Maximo to support data gathering activities and transfer as necessary to meet the requirements of the program. (Allows RR to meet contract requirements by establishing root cause of operational impact with a view to minimize in the future). Provide Pratt and Whitney onsite team with regular status updates, including closure statements and any corrective action as required.
Review proposed engineering changes with the view of minimizing adverse impact on the product in the field. Provide regular status updates to onsite Pratt & Whitney representatives as required to ensure efficient coordination of the planned changes.
Maintain status on Rolls-Royce deliveries of flight hardware, modification kits, support equipment, containers and spares, reporting any anomalies for resolution. Provide on-site Pratt & Whitney representatives with regular updates as required.
Assist in interpretation and refinement of Rolls-Royce maintenance and repair instructions, damage acceptance and repair limits, Lift System modification accomplishment instructions, referring issues for resolution to Rolls-Royce Engineering and logistic staff as required.
Ensure TV and AR reporting are provided to Rolls-Royce, (including issues relating to support equipment), providing supplementary information as required.
Provide regular status reports of operational activity in support of F35 Operations, keeping in mind any export or OPSEC concerns.
Support Lead FSR in executing Deployed Services and JSF Program responsibilities.
Deploy as needed within the wider Italy team, making sure that all customer requested deployments are supported at the level the customer requests.

Job Description

The Field Service Technician is primarily responsible for scheduled and remedial (break-fix) service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units & Battery system products (2-120KVA) serviced by Vertiv, commensurate with appropriate classroom and on-the-job training. The Field Service Technician is required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives and others as appropriate. The Field Service Technician is primarily responsible to support products and services sold to our "Edge" market segment, including retail, financial, and municipal customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ROLE
* Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures
* Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based upon training completion
* Render on-site and phone assistance to customers
* Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues
* Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines
* Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips
SAFETY
