Position Overview: The Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customer locations to handle the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of pumps and fans in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of these systems, helping maintain the smooth functioning of the equipment they support. By diagnosing and resolving issues on-site, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and reliably for our customers. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Installation: Properly install new pumps and fans in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. This includes setting up piping, fittings, electrical connections, and other necessary components to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on pumps and fans to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan. This includes inspecting components, lubricating moving parts, cleaning, replacing worn-out parts, and testing functionality to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning pumps and fans promptly to minimize downtime. This includes troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues, and performing repairs efficiently to restore functionality and ensure the systems are operating smoothly. Calibration: Calibrate pumps and fans to ensure accurate performance according to required specifications. This includes adjusting settings, replacing sensors, and verifying performance against established standards to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts replaced, and other relevant details for both pumps and fans. This includes updating equipment logs, preparing service reports, and capturing clear photos for tracking. Required Skills and Experience: Hands-on mechanical/ technical experience High school diploma or GED required Clean and valid driver's license Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment. Experience with a proven track record in customer satisfaction Willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends Safety and Compliance: Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards to maintain safe working conditions. Comply with all relevant regulations, such as OSHA, and utilization of appropriate PPE. Physical | Work Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 75 lbs. Physical stamina to stand, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods, ensuring comfort and efficiency while performing tasks in various settings. Capable of working in confined spaces and at heights, adhering to proper safety procedures and utilizing appropriate safety equipment during pump and fan installations and repairs. Willingness to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and confined spaces.
